Hot water at your fingertips.
Ok. Fam had this item over a year finally gave out due to user error, do not fill water past max line. I took it apart they have drain holes that allows overflow water to drain however if they would just have installed there power outlet upside down that would have given enough space to keep the two prong connectors more space from the bottom and allow overflow water time to drain. Still a good product. Might need to buy another. The item cane delivered in a pretty beat up box luckily Amazon double boxes some of these items. It also did not come with a user Manuel, which is why I gave only 4 stars. I know it’s a hot pot and should be pretty simple to use which it is. However this item has some features that would be worth sending some simple instructions on. Like the lock switch located at the top will not stop the hot water from pouring out when using the auto dispense feature, but simply locks the Manuel pump that this provides in case there is no power.Great unit I would recommend to anyone that needs instant hot water.

Just OK
I purchased in December of 2023, it's now October of 2024 and I'm having issues with it. It continually boils, sometimes for hours. I feel like these are made with cheap heat sensors, so these issues seem to happen pretty often.I clean the inside with citric acid (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Works amazing, especially for hard water) regularly, so it's not like there's a buildup of calcium or something interfering with the sensor or something. I think it's just cheaply made.Still works okay, but I just wouldn't expect it to last more than a year or so. I contacted the company for a refund and they told me to pound sand. Sad to see a company that doesn't stand behind their products.

High quality, reasonably priced!
It replaced my 40 yrs. old Japanese hot water pot. 3.2 L size is nice for my kitchen counter. Water actually boils and the pot keeps it hot as long it is plugged in. When dispensing hot water, hold the receptacles close to the dispenser or the hot water can splash out. I am happy with the high quality stainless steel and the reasonable price!

Great buy
I’m very pleased with my new hot water urn pot. It heats up quickly and is incredibly convenient for making tea or hot coffee in the morning.

no frills hot water for half the price [at the cost of safety!]
UPDATE (11/3/2024): You get what you pay for. we accidentally overfilled the unit & water got on the floor of the unit and thank god we have a GFCI outlet in our kitchen - it tripped right away and prevented a shock. I decided to open up the unit and there is a design flaw (sorry I don't have a before photo) - the leads from the outlet are at the very bottom of the unit and exposed (so what you see is I used silicone to make the terminals water tight) - so if water gets on the bottom of the unit, it shorts. I am quite certain if you get a more expensive unit, you are paying for safety by design and foresight to not allow this hazard to persist. Docking two stars.we read all the positive reviews and decided to take a gamble on this one. We're quite certain a Zorijushi would last 10 years at 2-3x the price. So we figure if this thing lasts 3-5 years we're doing ok (and totally hate feeling part of this disposable economy but this is a lecture for another time). We did have to come to terms with not having any kind of temperature control (so no green tea for us & this is ok as we're on a caffeine break)be sure to note the unit is 3.2L so it's TALL (our old Tiger was 2.2L)and I have to admit white looks better in our kitchen - this unit is black so keep this in mind as white will be a premium.we don't have kids in the house (and they wouldn't be able to reach it) so not having to push a button to "unlock" dispense is not necessary (in fact, it's much more convenient now)[UPDATE: I contacted Nutrichef and they were nice to confirm there is a plastic film you peel off - it doesn’t have a tab so you need to use your fingernail to get it off but once it is off, it looks great and no longer cheap! so disregard my previous comment:] the laminate job done on the unit is rather poor - it looks like it might peel sooner than it should (I thought maybe it was the extra plastic you peel off but it's not)the top is simple to take off (easier than our Tiger which we learned after it broke you can take it off nearly the same way lol)ok we haven't even had it 24 hrs so I'll definitely update this review after a year or two if anything becomes apparent!
