We don't stuff our bird. I think the cheesecloth would be a good idea, otherwise, the stuffing would fall out. The device stands about 9"tall, 10" long and 8"wide. We usually set it in a 9X13 roasting pan. This thing works great. We just used it on a chicken the other night and had the best chicken ever! We used it last year for Turkey day. We usually get a 10-12 pound bird. It is a great device- we love it. Highly recommend this cooker.

Could you please tell me how tall this device is NOT counting the handle? I see the handle folds down, so the dimensions given are unclear. THANKS!

The Roaster Stand I have is 10 inches tall with the handle folded down. On the box it states that the roaster is 9 3/4 inches tall with the handle folded down.

I don't see any photos of a turkey being roasted upside down in the product photos. How well does the product actually work breast side down?

The product actually works very well. The meat comes out moist and it does seem to cook faster than having the turkey in the pan. The other benefit to the product is that the handle on the top makes it super easy to lift the heavy turkey out of the pan. It is easy to slip the turkey off the product for carving. The only downside is that because you are not basting the turkey, the skin does not turn the lovely golden brown you might be used to. It browns, but I wouldn't say it was pretty enough to put on a plate and carve at the table. It was a gift from my brother and I thought it was just a gimmick. However after using it and having the turkey come out so well I bought one for each of my siblings and mother as a Christmas gift. Sorry, no photos.
