We have an older Hot Springs Vanguard spa, which requires five reusable filters. The filters are fairly durable, but should be replaced every two or three years. I started out using the genuine Hot Springs filters, but they were super expensive, so I switched to the Pleatco PWK-30 filters, which were about half the cost of the Hot Springs filters. Now that those are almost worn out, I was looking for replacements and was very happy to find these filters. These cost about half the cost of the Pleatco filters (or about 1/4 the cost of the Hot Springs brand filters) and appear and seem to function identically to the other, much more expensive filters. Swapping out the filters takes about 1-2 minutes, I consider the decision to switch to these filters a no-brainer; why spend more for an identical product?

We needed new filters for our 2011 Oregon Hot Springs Grandee Model spa and these filters are a perfect fit for the spa. I compared these filters to our other name brand filters and the build and material quality is exactly the same. I just replaced the water in our spa and installed these filters about 1 week ago and they are filtering the water fantastic.
