If you work for a non-profit or charity and you want to learn the basics of applying for grants, start with this book. It's hard to get grants and the more organized you can be before you start the more successful you will be.

Only people that are truly interested in Grant Writing will be into this book so I have no problem with saying this is a great read. I found a tremendous amount of good info that I have been and will use in my grant writing process.

This book is comprehensive and easy to read. I used it for a grand writing class. Every aspect of grant writing is in this book. Glad I bought it—a good addition to my home library.

Very informative book. Tells you how to look for grants and how to find places to get money. Very good for serious people looking to get grants.

While the book has some good fundamentals, the majority of the book is dedicated specifically to American resources, Governmental structures and regulations. I'm quite sure this would be tremendously useful information - but only if you are in America. There is a small amount of space dedicated to non-American resources.

As it says helps get terminology right for funding bids. Sadly is USA not uk but still it will be useful for novice funding bid writers in my org.
