Compared to Kase, keeping this
Did side-by-sides with Kase, and I'm returning the Kase. This kit is more than 2x the value. My image comparison was identical (EOS R + RF 24-70 2.8). The included cap (Kase charges extra) and even the storage case are better.

Swapping filters has never been easier!
Can't wait til they magnetize lenses! So easy to swap and best of all, it saves critical seconds of 'screwing' filters on & off. The only drawbacks I've experienced is in some situations, the corners vignette really dark, but the good thing is there's absolutely no dreaded "X".

Awesome filter system for the professional!
These magnetic filter are so awesome to use in the field! Allows me to quickly and easily add a quickly so I don’t miss the moment! I also love that the base magnetic part is a Uv filter which protects the front element on my lens...will definitely be buying more!

Quality and Convenience
I ordered this Freewell M2 Magnetic Quick Swap 3-Pack 82mm ND1000, CPL, UV filter set to use primarily for landscape photography.I like to use a 10 stop ND filter in all sorts of situations. There is, of course, moving water. When shot with a long exposure time, moving water gets smooth. Any wave movement looks like fog on the surface of the water. I also like to use an ND filter in places where there are are a lot of people who are moving. If you can get your shutter speed to be long enough, the people will just disappear, It's a little tough to do outdoors with just a 10 stop filter (16 stops is a better choice for that) but it will work like a charm indoors. The problem with ND filters is that they make your viewfinder so dark that it's hard to focus (if you're using manual focus) or compose your shot. Typically, you'd have your camera on a tripod, compose and focus, and then screw the filter on before taking the shot. While that sounds simple enough in theory, the reality is that you run the risk of changing your focus while you fiddle with trying to screw the filter on. These magnetic filters eliminate that issue. To use these filters, you just screw the magnetic ring onto your lens. If you're attaching to a lens with a smaller filter diameter, you screw the magnetic ring into a step down ring. Then, compose and focus. You just touch the filter to the magnetic ring and it will attach. Take your shot, remove the filter, and you're ready for your next composition. In addition to the ND filter, you'll also get a circular polarizer and a UV filter. I rarely use polarizers, as I'm always hesitant to add another layer of glass that might cause unsharpness or flare, but I've also missed out on some shots where a polarizer would have made a huge positive difference. You also get a magnetic lens cap and a nice carrying case. The magnetic lens cap is particularly handy when you've using step-up rings that prevent you from using the lens cap that normally fits the lens.So how well does the ND filter work? Well, the things I look for are changes in sharpness, any flare or reflections, and any color cast. I do not notice any issues with sharpness that aren't attributable to camera shake during a long exposure, and I've not experienced flare. As for color cast, most ND filters will produce some. The color cast produced by this ND filter tends toward added warmth and is easily corrected in LightRoom.

I like the way they work!
There really is only one drawback to this system. If you want to use filters other than what comes with it, you have to make sure you screw them on FIRST. You can only stick the magnetic filters on this, once you have the adapter on.But, that's where it gets good. Put the adapter ring on, and then it's just...POP, to put it on, and POP to take it off. If you go through a lot of filter changes (or only just a few) this can save a lot of tedious threading of filters. The ND filter seemed reasonably neutral (there's always a BIT of a shift that's easily correctible), and I didn't see any WILD color shift. Quality-wise, everything was top notch, even the carry case was actually really nice, if a bit bulky. At least it kept them very safe.As someone that owns, frankly, a lot of filters, I can promise you that you'll quickly gain an appreciation for the ease of use of the magnetic filters. It makes you ponder why all filters aren't universally magnetic, with camera makers putting magnetic filter holders into the ends of their lenses rather than threading them. Maybe somebody could speak to Nikon, Sony, Pentax, and Canon on our behalf, lol. Maybe it's time for a global paradigm shift to magnetic filters. Wishful thinking, perhaps. For the price, these frankly are a steal. I've paid this much for an ND filter. And you get a whole kit. 5 easy stars.

Good Product (after return of defective item). Bad delivery and return experience.
The first delivered product looked like it had been re-packaged. I installed it on my camera only to find out that the shipped magnetic ring, circular polarizer and lens cap had reverse polarity (they would not work with an existing Freewell ND filter and step-up ring purchased previously). Amazon quickly replaced the defective order with one that properly worked with my Freewell ND filter. The return process was slow and required too much of my attention, some of it probably caused by UPS's poor tracking system. I have used the replacement filter and It works great as a single polarizer or magnetically coupled to my ND filter. Hopefully, the reversed polarity is a rare problem as I intend to buy more Freewell products based on their unique design and optical quality.

Very versatile and quick to use
This really is a good product. Bought it after reading many reviews. The filters are of really good quality with no drop in sharpness and no colour casts on the images.Once the base ring has been screwed in, employing and swapping the filters is fast and efficient. The magnet is a strong one; nothing fell off when I was walking about. The filter and the lens cap stayed put. I even used two stacked filters together with no issues. The CPL is easy to use and not fiddly. I didn't feel too confident about using the smaller "inner" magnetic ring, so I can't comment on the same. Taking off filters after stacking them can be a bit awkward at times as it's not always easy to find indents at the edges to pull just one off, which hopefully can be addressed in a subsequent design. Fingernails to be employed here but if one is wearing gloves, it can be a bit fussy. This experience was largely mirrored when using a step up ring. The only thing one needs to bear in mind is that when unscrewing the magnetic ring, the step up ring is likely to come unscrewed too as the rims are quite slim. Not that I found it a significant drawback, mind. The case is decent, too. Hard backed, looks quite good, sports twin zippers (and good ones at that), and a loop which I found most useful as I'd looped a carabiner through the same and slung the filters from my tripod; an arrangement which worked well for me recently on holiday. All in all, no regrets worth mentioning here. A thoughtfully engineered product, really well-priced, and one I wholeheartedly recommend.

Just great
It was always such a headache to put on and off conventional type of filters on the lens and that was the reason I never used them except permanently fixed UV filter. Now it is such a fun to experiment with different type of filters, since it is so easy to change them. Magnetic cup is just fantastic, since you have a ring to easily put it on and off with blend installed. Highly recommend.
