This is really just a CarPlay android auto monitor. I wish it had the ability to install android apps locally or use the sd card for MP3’s without a phone needed. I’m sure they could add that via software update if they wanted. The dashcam camera is high quality, but mounting it in a good location for that is awkward. In my state screens have to be out of the way in the corner of the windshield. CarPlay worked right away. It did make me wonder why Apple doesn’t allow CarPlay from iPads, just phones. .

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this for my old car. It takes me 15minutes to install it. Camera is very clearly better than I expected. It helps a lot when i park. It also has apple carplay. So easily connects to my iPhone I could touch screen to use map, and play music. It’s very cool. I’m satisfied with this purchase！

Before installing it into my car, I decided to test the features at my desk first. I powered on the device, turned on Bluetooth and WiFi on my phone. I managed to get the device connected to BT and Wi-Fi, but the device never left the screen where it gives instructions on how to connect. I've used a few devices similar to this one, so I assumed it would be as simple, but that does not seem to be the case. I kept trying for about 20min before I decided it's not going to work out. I just couldn't get beyond the screen with the instructions on how to connect to an android phone. Maybe I'm just an idiot.

I have been using this dash cam for several months now in my truck and so far it has been great. It was easy to install and connect with my phone. The functionality is great. The camera view is nice to have, but I use it mainly for the maps. It is a good size and fits easily on the dashboard. Overall I am really happy with it. My truck is an older model so this is a nice upgrade for us, especially on roadtrips. I think the price is fair for what you get and I expect it to last us a long time. I hope that sharing my opinion and experience here provides you some value when shopping and deciding on something like this dash cam with apple CarPlay, if so please let everyone know below.

I'm extremely impressed with this Spedal CL811 car stereo! It's a solid piece of equipment that works seamlessly with Android Auto, finally transporting our old family car into the modern ages. Installation and set up was a breeze with the easy to follow instruction manual. Once I got the rear camera mounted and the cable routed through my interior, it took mere minutes to get everything synced up and working. My phone connects quickly and seamlessly every time I start up the car. The cameras are crystal clear, the sound quality is excellent through the car speakers, and the 9" display has incredibly good touch response. I'm just so thrilled to finally be able to access my maps and Spotify with this, I can't think of any cons to report. It truly is an excellent value for the money. If you have an old car that could use a budget friendly stereo upgrade, I highly recommend this!

This carplay screen works well and the support was easy to get in touch with for any issues you have with the item. This is a good way to get carplay on your older vehicles. One issue I had was that it didn't work with the USB C charger I had already in my car so I had to use the included one which has less ports. This is disappointing since I was using the other ports to charge other devices as well.
