Works great!! As advertised!
Picked this up for a replacement for my Optoma HD146X remote. Itβs a little tricky, but pairing is really just setting the remote into a manufacturer-specific setting with a specific button combination. Instructions make it easy! After your manufacturer code is entered, the remote just starts working with that protocol. Well built, looks like it will last for years.Quality is great! Functions well!! Iβm happy!! If you need a replacement remote for your projector, this is a great choice!!

At least they said "almost all" in the title...
I've got a number of projectors, and was hoping that this remote would be The One to Obsolete Them All. But nope. It doesn't work with my most recent Epson, and it doesn't work with a Boxlight projector I have (but it also doesn't claim to work with Boxlight, so that can be forgiven). It does work with an old Sanyo and an old Mitsubishi and an old Vivitek I have sitting around, and I suppose old projectors are typically the ones that need replacement remotes, but I had a different purpose in mind for this, and it didn't really meet that need. Oh well.I agree with the review that the "Operational Guideline" sticker on the back is hard to read. It's got loads of info (some of which is probably unnecessary) in a very small space. I took a photo on my phone so I could pan around and read it more easily, so I'll share that with all of you here. Hope it helps! They definitely didn't need to write '"SET" key+' and 'button adapter' -- imagine all the space they'd save without those written a couple dozen times. All they needed to say was "Hold the 'SET' key, press the button below for your brand. When successfully programmed, the LED will flash 3 times. Then let go of 'SET'."Anyway, the remote is fairly well built, and the buttons are responsive. You'll either be able to use it for your projector, in which case, I suspect you'll be quite happy with it, or it won't work for your particular projector, in which case, I suspect you'll be quite frustrated. But that's honestly the case for any universal remote you'll find. This one claims to support quite a few brands, and it offers that functionality at a very good price, if it does what you need. It has the button functions you'd typically find on a reasonable projector remote, so for me, this is a very middle of the road remote. If you can find one purpose-built for your projector for a similar price, I'd go that route, but if not, and your projector is a bit older, this is probably worth a shot. The asking price is on the lower side of what projector remotes go for.
