Used after surgery
My wife had to use this for about a month after her wrist surgery and it worked very well. Its stretchy so it takes a bit to get used to how much you need to cut. We got one the correct length and then starting using that as a template to make 5 or 6 at a time. Good product.

Great Product and Great Value Too!
I have needed to wear a removable "hard cast" on my hand for some time to heal some chronic issues. When they gave me the cast, they only gave me a few stocking like liners with the thumb cutout. As these tend to unravel with wear and get dirty, I wanted more. This was perfect for me and came in a quantity that was less than some. I don't need a huge quantity so this was perfect. Now I can change the lining anytime I want. They are easy to cut with the method the box offers. Just unroll what you want!

Perfect for a splint
I recently broke my hand which necessitated a splint to immobilize my hand while it healed from surgery. This is exactly the same material that my physical therapist used when he made my splint. This material breathes well and provides a barrier between your skin and the plastic splint. This prevents chafing and discomfort well you wear your splint for 3 to 6 weeks. You do want to change this sock material out periodically as you sweat and it gets quite stinky. Having a box of it that you can cut to the size you need is really handy and I would definitely recommend buying a box if you're going to be in your splint for any measurable time. one trick is if you have to cut a thumb hole cut it much smaller than you think you need as when you expand the material the whole ends up being much larger than you think it will be. The material expands easily to cover a wrist forearm or even elbow if necessary.

Saved me a fortune!
This is just as good as what the physical therapist used when I broke my wrist, and I was able to replace theirs as often as I wanted without the insane markup they charge. They suggested I hand wash it, but with all the other stuff I had to learn to tackle one-handed…no way. It does stretch out over time when I cut a hole for my thumb, but then I just cut a new one to replace it.

Very soft and stretchy
We use this to cover the ramps in our rat’s cage. It gives them something to dig their little claws into and it’s easy to remove and wash.

Washable ! Worked for my purposes
Had neck surgery- bought this so I could change out the cover on the neck brace every day- worked like a charm! If you have summer surgery trust me- you want to change the cover every day!!

Perfect for my use
I ordered this to make doll heads with. Super nice and stretchy. The size was perfect for my needs. I’m not suing for a medical purpose but I can’t tell it would work well for that too. It’s soft to the touch. I didn’t wear it but I did spend a lot of time holding it. Would order again

Cotton but loose
I chose this because it was cotton. However it was too loose and stretchy for my needs. Good brand though, from my past experience

The stockinette had multiple stains on the roll. I returned it given it was unsuitable to use as a cover over sterile dressings.
