Easy and simple enough to use. Handle is comfortable. Reads instantly. Large numbers make it easy to read in the dark. We have a forehead thermometer but ear thermometer is still generally more accurate. Worked well when our kids had the flu and running with high fever. Our forehead scanner gave wide ranges of temperature readings and made it difficult sometimes to track progress, so accuracy was very important to us in monitoring them. This scanner is not the latest model but still worked great and cheaper.

Accurate, easy to use, quick readout. Worth the money for the accuracy alone.

Easy and accurate

Costs more, but really seems to give the most accurate, reliable temperatures. Our older ear thermometers (mostly Braun also), were pretty good, but always were lower than our true temperature, so we had to sort of guess what our real temperature was (we are not all 97.2 - 97.6 when we are healthy). The forehead thermometers are slightly easier and quicker, but the least accurate (my impression--but also supported by recent study on hospitalized patients).

This Braun ear thermometer is a game-changer! It gives quick and accurate readings in just a few seconds, making it perfect for checking temperatures, especially with kids who don’t sit still. The ergonomic design makes it easy to hold and position correctly, and the disposable lens covers keep it hygienic. I’ve compared it to other thermometers, and this one is by far the most reliable. Definitely a must-have for any household!

Great baby thermometer! It’s quick, gentle, and very accurate, making temperature checks easy and stress-free. The clear display and simple design are perfect for parents.

Absolutely zero consistency in the temperature taken. It fails to serve its most basic purpose. I can’t even believe I paid money for this. I might as well just use my hand to see if somebody is warm. It literally registers 101 in some cases and then 97.8 and others within minutes of the same reading.

I’ve had other Braun thermometers and was not as satisfied with this one. The beeping can get confusing especially if there is a fever. Also, if you attempt to try a second reading too soon, it gives you an error. It’s ok, accurate and does the job for the price.
