I purchased this book for my nephew and it was a hit! He has recently gotten really into sports, American football in particular. This book chronicles 14 educational stories about professional football, spanning from the story of the first ever game all the way to Tom Brady’s retirement last season. Not only is this a great way to learn about some of the greats from every era, it is meant to be inspirational beyond the scope of football. I think this intentionality is what I liked most. This book would be a great purchase at any time—but with the NFL playoffs in full gear, it really excited him for this weekend’s games. Added Bonus: As an avid football fan myself, I even learned from this book. There’s actually a chapter entitled, “The Birth of The Iconic Huddle,” that told a story that I was able to share with my friends today!
