Anyone but You - Blu-ray + Digital

This is a very enjoyable "Rom-Com" type movie that offers just enough unexpected twists and surprises, that it keeps it from being too formulaic or predictable. And of course...Sydney Sweeney...the gorgeous Sydney Sweeney. Despite her gorgeous figure, I kept finding myself just looking at her face. She is one of those unique women who has each individual feature of her face being "perfect." Her eyes are perfect; her nose is perfect; her lips/mouth are perfect; the shape of her face is perfect, and it all comes together to be just a stunningly beautiful young woman. Often times, one or more features are "unique" and come together to still form a "uniquely, unusually" beautiful woman and face. But if you went to a book of facial features and picked out the perfect eyes, nose, and lips, you'd likely select and create what is manifested in Sydney Sweeney. The location of the movie is great, the pace, antics, romance, and other aspects of the movie all come together to offer a nice, mindless escape to watch two people fall in love with the usual attractions, frustrations, angst, and successful outcome where love trumps everything and all things. You won't be sorry to have watched and enjoyed this movie.

Hallelujah! This movie gave me hope that Hollywood could make a good rom com again. Remember the fun hijinks of “How to Lose Guy?” This has those moments. Is it going to win an Oscar? No. But unlike Oscar winning movies, I will actually watch this again and again. In fact, I already have. This movie easily finds its place on the shelf next to my other romcom faves. It’s goofy and cheesy and a little predictable in all the right ways. And if you don’t walk away from this with “Unwritten” playing in your head for the next few days, then you need to put down your smart phone and watch it again.And yes, my boyfriend loved it and so did his guy friends of all ages. So rent it, buy it, download it, stream it, whatever it and enjoy.You won’t be disappointed.

The very funny scenes in this film are its saving graces. One scene in particular takes place while most of the characters are watching a koala bear. Another scene has the two main characters swimming with differing levels of skill and stamina, so the viewer will always keep this in mind. There will be time spent in the water.Sydney Sweeney, one half of the central romantic pair, is in her mid-twenties. Her love interest, Glenn Powell, is about 11 years older. There is a remark made about the age difference at one point and he protests that he is what would be several years younger than that. Her parents aren't buying it - they recognize the age difference. To me, the age difference feels just about right: he will be there to help his younger partner grow up. The acting leads you to believe that this mismatch of ages still might work.The rest of the group, excluding the older parents, are young and green and immature. The lesbians whose destination wedding gives the locale for this movie seem nearly pre-adolescent. Almost as if they are acting out at summer camp and playing dress up. The ex-lovers who show up at the wedding do not pose serious threats to the central characters' budding romance. In short, the people around the two main characters feel flimsy and insubstantial.But - that is OK. There is still the scene with the koala bear. It is still Australia, glorious sun and, man, are these people rich! The scenery is enough to make the film worth watching. The dialogue is OK, and the writers made the story close enough to 'Much Ado About Nothing' that the viewer will keep guessing which lines were loosely taken from Shakespeare's play.Glen Powell. You have to see the man unclothed to start questioning his love interest, 'What is wrong with you, girl!'

I loved this show. I have a lot going on in my life rn- 3 recent deaths- & I needed a feel good show. This did not disappoint. Would gladly watch it again. The only good thing about having neurological issues is you can’t remember reading or watching half the stuff you read and watch. Saving me a bundle on new books. Ngl.

This movie is adorable! It’s been a while since we’ve had a really good romcom come out, really glad prime decided to pick up the script! The cast is absolutely amazing, Syd Sweeney is so pretty and so cute! And he isn’t bad to look at either! Great movie for a date night

The girlfriend wanted to watch it and as a male I actually enjoyed it too.Actually a pretty good movie, my dad even watch it and liked it.

This movie definitely had me laughing! If you are looking for something to make you laugh, this movie is for you. It does have some nudity so it’s definitely not something you want to watch with your child.

Nice light hearted movie. Like the cast liked the whole Rom con experience. Nice to see a movie without spending a fortune at the theater and 30 bucks on popcorn and soda. Sit at home with your snacks and not watching summer reruns. It was a nice date night at home
