This jig may not be the sturdiest available but was absolutely perfect for marking and drilling holes for some kitchen cabinet doors and drawers. The three included brad point drill bits were particularly helpful for ensuring that the drill did not wander away from the guide holes placement. Very easy to assemble and use. Worked very well with the ability to reverse it for right and left side opening doors by simply turning the fixture over onto it's other side which simplified the task and ensured mirror image placement of both knobs. It might not be quite so stable for marking and drilling two holes for a handle, but using it as a guide rather than a true template, it should still work just fine. Fast shipping on short notice was a huge plus.

Easy to use. The instructions were actually helpful for use with drawers and doors. As it’s part plastic and part metal, the accuracy of drilling was less than perfect. I found it best to use the tool to mark the spots and then check again with a ruler for accuracy and then finally drill. The value of the product was good. The quality was fine. Just remember the to “measure twice and drill once”.

I was tasked with installing 50 pcs of hardware. All on installed cabinets that I had no second chances. This is a precise instrument that can do a very high quality job. If you need to install hardware, buy it! High quality materials, well machined. Don’t get the plastic products. Buy it. You’ll be able to hand it down.

Simple and good design. Save much time when you install pulls or knobs. I would suggest an improvement to the design - mke the holes on end stub and the center bar easily to be differentiated from the other two, e.g., use different color. I drilled one hole wrong after drilled a hundred holes and got a bit distracted . Like in the 2nd picture, there are 3 holes on the tool . I was supposed to drill the lower two holes. But for one door, when I got distracted, I drill the hole on the top. It could have been avoided if the top hole can be more easily distinguished from the other two.

It always takes a little time to get all the measurements right to install drawer pulls uniformly. This gadget assists that greatly. You set it up, drill one side, flip the tool over and drill for the other handle. They come out perfectly. For being plastic, they are well made with steel inserts to drill down through. If you are a cabinet maker you should probably order the metal set, but the plastic set appears to be fairly robust and should last quite some time with home/hobby useage. The inserts keep the bit aligned and keep the drill from wandering. The kit came with the tool itself along with several bits. 👍

its very accurate even though it's made mostly from plastic. It's very easy to use and is priced right.

This jig works and was easy to use. However, I wish it was bigger or had an option to buy a bigger piece to use with wider drawers.
