Definitely will get your attention but no way to hang them on anything but the doorknob so make sure you can think of something if you don't want them getting caught every time you open/close the door. I love that I can remove some bells and place elsewhere if I would like. My puppy is a bit overwhelmed by the size of this, I think, but she does ring it.

These bells work!! As a matter of fact, we have three dogs and even before we made an effort to start training, our golden retriever figured out what to do!! She's the smart one of the group!!!

While these work well and are easy to use, the metal on the bells is very pliable, and because of that, my puppy's paw has gotten stuck in the bells twice now. We will be discontinuing use immediately and looking for a replacement that isn't dangerous.
