Nice texture and color, great price
Lovely texture and sheen, not too shiny. Slightly stretchy but nothing too crazy, super easy to sew. A great value for the price, color was true to the stock photo. It was exactly what I needed for my cosplay, would definitely recommend!

Meh... I'm confused, not what I expected.
Well, I was expecting something more like shantung, less like duponi since it said 6.4oz. I'm not even sure they sent the right fabric. There are a few surprises, some good, some not as much.It looks like duponi. It's nice and pretty, but heavy, coarse, a bit rough to the touch. It would be better for upholstery than garments, I would think, unless the garment is simple, tailored and not against your skin. It's not soft, it does not drape.There are no selvages, on any edge, at all! It's like it was cut from the middle of something. I've never gotten yardage this way, it's a bit odd. It frays constantly, and fast, since all edges are fraying at once, it's quite difficult to control.I didn't read closely the measures in the ad, but it worked out ok. 57x20 (as posted) would've been odd, indeed, and unsuitable for my needs. Luckily, I received something like 1.5yds of about 40" wide. That's nearly double the posted measurement, so that's a plus.I wanted to try to dye it for home decor items, even though it's polyester. I might still work for me, but I'm still pondering.

Beautiful Color/Poor Quality
Shantung Dupioni fabric is usually a good quality fabric for making articles of clothing. I was excited to find this fabric online as it has become increasingly difficult to find quality fabrics in my area. The excitement quickly dissipated once I received my fabric. It was very thin and stiff. I had put several pieces (different colors) in my cart for future purchases. After receiving this order (along with another color), I quickly emptied my cart of any other possible orders. As I stated, beautiful color BUT poor quality.

I bought this to make dolls corsets and it’s perfect! Price is affordable. Good quality too
