So.... when it says " We keep tight supplies so nothing sits over 30 days"... Mine was 32 days old from date of manufacture to date of shipping. Splitting hairs I guess.My real complaint was the grind. I ordered it ground, yet it was very uneven large chunks and fine powder (dull blade grind?). This was not suitable for french pressing. I can use this for drip only.Don't get me wrong, the taste is ok for my drip, but a little bitter from the grind most likely. I purchased this for my french press weekends and was disappointed.***** UPDATE ***** So I felt was a bit unfair regarding the "grind" issue. I've enjoyed the coffee in my old drip for 3 days now and it's EXCELLENT COFFEE. Buying the beans next time :)

I have used Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee in the past and in one instance it was absolutely great. But it was a small grower and I could not get the coffee again. I tried this one hoping it would be as good and was a bit disappointed. It tastes OK but not great. Needs to be more flavorful. It also seems to have a bit of an acidic after taste even though I have tried using different amounts per cup. It may be just my taste buds, but this one has not hit the mark for me after tasting one that was as close to perfect as I could imagine. Someone else may be able to find the right coffee/water blend to meet their taste.

I have tried Dunk in donuts, Maxwell house, Aldi's, Folgers (various flavors/grinds), Black Rife Company, Gevalia. etc. Most of these are just copacks by Folgers, using robusta mix beans.Then I found Volcanica Coffee Company Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. OH MY GOD, this is great coffee. Roasted & ground in Georgia, 100% Arabica beans, actually pick where they say. Mild, no acid, low if any bitterness, with notes of lemon, blueberry, blackberry. Not a marketing trick, you can actually taste the notes.I know it's on the expensive side, but this is definitely a "you get what you pay for." I really, believe there is cheap coffee an great coffee. This is one of the pleasures in life.

This was the worst coffee I have ever tasted !! It was weak and gross. Please refund my money !

After a rather difficult search for coffee that was not roasted a year or two ago, quite difficult when you don't live in a major city, I found out that volcanica had reasonably fresh roasted coffee and was available on amazon.The roast date (march 10 2022) was almost exactly 1 month ago when I recieved the coffee, which was... acceptable, as I had chosen not to have it shipped directly from volcanica due to time constraints.The coffee was pleasantly roasted, and a far cry from the over burnt grounds that is common in the country. Flavor was also very pleasant, a bit acidic, fruity, brewed with an Aeropress.I would certainly buy coffee from volcanica again in the future.

On that eternal quest to find the best flavor of coffee I ran across this one. In my opinion I believe my search has ended. It was very subtle, yet creamy, not bitter, with great flavor. I will be buying this coffee from now on.
