Since moving from the South to the upper Midwest, I've been unable to get my insurance to cover any lidocaine patches. (They'll cover the cream/ointment, just not the patches.) I have back issues due to a few surgeries where they had to cut through everything to completely expose my spine, and having been rear-ended while at a complete stop on numerous occasions. Prior to moving, my insurance paid for the name brand Lidocaine patches. Now that I've moved, they refuse to pay for ANY Lidocaine patches. Although the cream/ointment works well on other body parts, it doesn't provide as much pain relief as the patches. I was beyond thrilled to find an affordable OTC Lidocaine patch!! These patches work just as well as the brand name, prescription Lidocaine patches. They're easy to apply and typically stay on my lower back all day/night. (Plus I don't have to wait 30 minutes for the Lidocaine cream to be absorbed before getting dressed, or allowing anything to touch the treated area.) There's no medicinal smell. As long as I keep my undergarment tucked in, no one even knows that I'm wearing a pain patch. In spite of being a fraction of the price, and don't require a prescription, they relieve pain for 12 hours just like the prescription patches. I highly recommend these lidocaine patches. They're wonderful!!! I'll be buying these patches as long as they remain affordable. If you have chronic pain anywhere below your neck, you should try these patches, just be sure to shave the area before applying the patch if you have more hair than simple peach fuzz.

I am writing to share my experience with the [Product Name] patches. I suffer from an old back injury that causes pain for several days to a week at a time. My MD recommended these patches, and I've found them to be very effective. The patch fits perfectly over the area where I experience pain. While it can be a bit tricky to apply by myself to my back, I've managed to do so successfully. I appreciate that the patches are odorless and stay in place all day long, even during an entire workday. I've also worn them overnight, applying one before bed, and it remained securely in position.

Not good at all. The patch maybe effective but falls off immediately once u apply. There are better patches available that stays on ur skin longer and are effective.

Works well

Best value for this product I have found. While I do like the fabric-like patches for certain areas because they stay on better, these are comparable to most brands- they are the thick-jelly consistency patches. They provide quick relief and can be cut down to size. The do roll off quite easily with movement or any moisture, but all of the jelly -like ones do. I secure with medical tape as I get the best value for the price with these.

These are smaller than the ones you get by prescription or at a chain pharmacy store. They also aren't very sticky, so they come off faster than most other brands due to the nonadherence. They work well for a few hours, but most pain patches last 12 hours - these definitely don't work 12 hours, and for a much smaller area.

This is a "non" stick patch, unless you have perfectly smooth non porous skin! It appears to rely on the stiction principle (like cell phone screen covers) which fails on skin or moving surfaces. Pain relief at least matches the 4% rollon products. Fortunately I have many rolls of tape left from my ski patrol days. If you don't buy 1 or 2 for to use these on feet.
