I own a few different RC drones and helicopters and I am really happy with this drone. I can also say it is a big hit with the kids (6-10). The youngest prefers using this drone to his small indoor helicopter. The obstacle avoidance worked well, but we mostly keep it on the fast setting which deactivates the avoidance feature. The full cage design is excellent at taking the drama out of hitting a wall or ceiling (so don't worry about switching it to the fast mode!). The teaching mode was great for the kids to get a feel for the controls. Overall impression: If you are wanting a fun little drone to zip around the living room with, I highly recommend that you consider buying this drone. Outside performance is as expected for these types of drones. Works OK if it is a calm day. Battery life is great and the auto land feature works well. Overall, it is a no-brainer purchase at this price.

I was surprised with this drone. From the pictures I thought it would be bigger. Great value and good option for kids. With the guards over the propellers it makes it very safe for the kids to fly indoors and outdoors. With the sensors it makes the drone easy to fly and helps avoid crashing into objects, and if it does it will bounce off because the propeller guards. Has neat little tricks to keep your kids entertained to fly. Battery life lasts fairly long, I got up to 20 mins of normal flying but if you fly fast more like 10 or 15 minutes. Great option if you don't want to spend too much and get something fun to fly that won't break the first time you crash into something.

This is the first drone I ever had and it is a lot of fun to fly around with my 4 year old son. The controls are simple enough that after some practice a young child can fly it on their own and have tons of fun doing so. My son loves it and it has become a bonding experience for us to fly it together. Another reason that I really like the drone is that the fan blades are covered so you don't have to worry about little fingers getting hurt. The propellers are durable enough that they can take some punishment without breaking. I have bounced my drone odd the walls of my apartment a few times and so far nothinf has been broken. Overall great starter drone without the only thing I would improve is the roughly 7 minute battery life. Other than that I would definitely recommend this drone to someone looking for a starter drone or for one to play with young children.

Each battery only lasts 3.5 mins. It does to quickly for my kids to have any real fun with it
