Metabo HPT Extended Magazine for 21 Degree Cordless Framing Nailers | Fits models - NR1890DRS, NR1890DRSQ7, NR1890DRST, NR3690DR | 379048M

I am a General Contractor and frame regularly with my NR1890 cordless gun.Replaced the OEM short magazine with this one. Obviously the higher capacity is a big plus but this is also just a much better magazine all together. It's a metal body where the OEM is plastic. The nail follower is much smoother and more forgiving resulting in faster reloads. The release is much easier to operate and the spring on the follower much stronger. I've only used it a day so far but this was more than I expected.Metabo fixed all the fussy feed jams & difficulty to clear, difficulty reloading and failure to feed issues I had with the OE magazine the gun came with.Install directions could be a little better but if you take your time, you can swap this out on my NR1890 in about 15 minutes.

I’ve had the nailer since 2018, but it came with a short magazine. Well for my birthday my family got me this extended magazine and it’s awesome! It holds over 2 racks of nails now for less reloading.

If you do any amount of framing or other work that requires large quantities of nails to be used, you need this for your nailer. Doesn't add any noticeable weight. Functions as good as the shorter original and is just as durable. Some tighter areas will be harder to get into, but the tradeoff is well worth it in my opinion. You literally spend half the amount of time loading nails than you did before. Feeds nails well, just as easy to use as original, and really should come with nailers when purchased, but that's another story.

Loved the metabo nailer when I first got it, but only could hole one rack of nails. Now with this extension clip, it can hold two like a regular framer. Easy to install and well worth it!

It's ideal to have a spare magazine ready when on the job. this one is great for my construction tasks.

Great product, it's a must to have with this nailer. If you don't have it already, get it, you won't regret it.

works great and nails dont get stuck like the original one .for being a huge company and probably having a large R&D department they sure as heck cant get it right. what are they hiring idiots only. from having the greatest framing gun in existance to to having good guns with annoying as@ problems .this magazine has a wear problem with the slide otherwise works exellent i will buy and reccomend this ,but couldnt they have fixed this in the first place?

This is a great addition to the hpt framing nailers. The only negative is that the nailer is slightly heavier.
