Vegan Chocolate - Ombar 100% Dark Chocolate (70g x 10 Bars) Organic Fair Trade, Dairy and Gluten Free Chocolate

This dark chocolate bar is very good, especially from a price to health standpoint assuming you're eating this for health too (as for taste, for a 100% bar it is good too). It's also interestingly unroasted (raw) which if you believe in raw food helping health should help even more. There's controversy in the chocolate world about the use of the terms "raw" and "unroasted" so it's interesting to see that this is apparently truly unroasted whereby the cacao hasn't undergone any roasting throughout the entirety of production. I think sometimes bars which are called "raw" are still unroasted, it's just use of the term is sometimes vague and occasionally roasting steps are introduced (but it depends). I guess I'd have to manually inspect it all if I ever wanted to truly find out!

This is my 8th order of this product, until now this chocolate was really good, but my last order was terrible, change in texture ( soft and greasy), the taste is weird, I don't know if they change the recipe or it was a bad batch, but as it not eligible for return, I won't buy it again

Nice one, this is almost as good as the marks n spencers variety, tastes a bit sweeter than the marks n spencers one, but I prefer more bitter ones, that's why I prefer the one from marks. This was a nice one, no added sugar, no sugar alcohols, but side note, I wish chocoalte bars would tell me how much lead and cadmium levels are in each bar, because these are apparently found all over the soil that cocoa beans are being grown from, and they are all over the social media.That would be the only issue I have with this, it is in fact the 2nd best I have tasted. I think the price though should really be 100g x 10 for 23 quid, marks has them at £2.10 each bar and theirs are 100g so really want to comepete with them you need to equal out the quantity vs price, and I may buy again in the future.I eat dark chocolate in small portions per day, because of the health benefits a small portion can yield, just startpage or google it and you see why. Just be careful of having too much it can make you fat despite it being virtually sugar free between 0.3g-0.5g sugar per 100g so this being 70g bars x 10 one 70g bar will be maybe around 0.2grams of sugar.It's organic, vegan, fair trade, gluten free, dairy free, may contain peanuts and other nuts, cocoa solids are 100% minimum, definitely a good darki chocolate if your into the bitter mellow/sweet taste, made from unroasted cacao. Final note, you do get 10 bars and each one is 70g, they don't look big like the 100g, but are chunkier.

I suspect we are all nervous,about trying 100% cacao unsweetened chocolate, but this one tastes very good. It is very smooth and not at all bitter. Far superior to another brand I have tried before..

I loved this stuff and have spent probably hundreds of pounds on it over a few years. Sadly, something seems to have gone wrong of late. The last batch delivered is lighter in colour and has an unpleasant oily texture and taste. That's £33 in the bin! I hope this is just a bad batch and they will return to form.

Not quite used to the taste on its own yet but 2 squares melted into some heated oat milk makes a very tasty drink! Yum
