Works Good For Drip Irrigation
This is my first experience with setting up drip irrigation for my garden. I intentionally planted my potatoes in 10 and 15 gallon buckets and black raspberries in a long raised bed close to my well. This water well feeds my house, but I wanted to use it directly to water these plants.I bought a 12 volt, 100W Renogy Solar Panel and a 12 volt submersible pump. The first submersible pump I bought worked excellent during testing, submerged in my swimming pool and connected directly to the solar panel, but it was too large in diameter to fit down my well and slip past the side-saddle piping that feeds my house. I had to search for a smaller pump that would. There were two or three to select from an Amazon, so I decided on this one. It slipped down into the well past the side-saddle without a problem. I've got it connected directly to the solar panel through a toggle switch. I have no charge controller or battery, just the solar panel and this mini-pump. In full sun it pumps water through my drip lines to three strings on potatoes and a fifty-foot of raspberries.A Tee and shut off valve at the header of my drip line allows me to draw water into a watering can as well. When there's thin cloud cover, it still pumps, just slower. I've had it running for just over a week now and it's wonderful not having to go out everyday to water everything. Now I'll have to see how long the pump lasts.

Great Pump and Good Quality
Perfect if you have a skiff or aluminum boat. Hooked up to the battery with a hose running of the side it pumps quick. Nice to be able to get the water out of the boat after loading up at the sandbar or after a heavy rain. Will purchase again if I need another for a separate boat.

Perfect for my needs
I bought this to fill and empty my bait tank while on the lake. This pump works great for that task. I can fill my 26-gallon bait tank in just a few minutes.

high GPM
Bought this pump for transferring water out of storage tanks and into jugs during power outages ..works perfectly for that...hoped to use it to wash dishes/shower..but the flow rate is too high and I fear restricting the pump will kill it....anyway it works brilliantly for general washdown...filling jugs and toilet tanks..etc. have it hooked up to a little 10 ah battery with fuse/switch and with a 5 gal jerry can makes a nice portable water supply..I think perhaps if you cleverly rigged it with some kind of y valve to let the pump bypass back to the jug..? you could get it to work for dish washing but haven't messed around with that idea as yet..

I should've bought this pump first!
I wanted to be able to top off my RV's fresh water tank from a 5 gallon jug. My first purchase was one of those battery-powered pump 'sticks'. No bueno. It couldn't adequately lift the water when the jug was sitting on the ground so I had to prop it up on some totes to get it to work. My second purchase was this pump and a few feet of clear 1/2" hose. Wow... night and day... this pump isn't even straining as it quickly transfers water from the jug - on the ground - up and into my fresh water tank. Awesome! Moral of the story - buy this pump first.

Keeps running under pressure
The pump does not turn off after pressurizing, so it runs constantly between spraying if connected to a hose sprayer. This may reduce longevity, and draws a constant 45 watts from my power bank when on.
