Great for beading.
I used this thread to repurpose an old wind chime. Instead of repairing it back to a wind chime, I did bead work hanging down and for the hanger

lightweight, doesn't tangle, works pretty well for illusion-style necklaces
I used to make a lot of illusion-style necklaces back in the 1990s and I've recently gotten back into beading, so I thought I'd try again. I added this to an order and I'm pretty happy with it.I use crimp tubes to hold the beads in place, one on each side, and they are working well (I use the smallest size I have). I use the same crimp tubes to make little loops on the ends for attaching clasps. I have not tried gluing this. It does cut pretty easily with scissors, but it is quite strong and will hold up under other (normal) circumstances. It fits through the holes in pretty much all of my beads (even pearls) without requiring a needle, which is nice.If you look closely, of course this is not invisible, but from a reasonable distance the illusion is nice. This does not have a tendency to tangle, which is nice, and it's pretty lightweight. There is a fair amount here, but if I ever run out, I would buy the same item again.

A little hard to work with because it is so invisible.
Works as advertisedSo transparent it is invisible.

What's my line...
I am new to the world of beading, so whether this line worked for me of not has nothing to do with the quality of the product. I found it to be a strong line that held up to my abuses, easy to spool off and work with. As with all nylon lines (years of fishing) it has a tendency to kink and stretch, but again I did abuse it considerably. The spools make it easy to store without the fear of tangling or coming unraveled. This will be my go to line from now on on most of my beading projects.

Awesome for Decorations
Love this stuff! I use it to decorate during the holidays by hanging the snowflakes from the ceiling. It’s awesome because it’s so sturdy and clear so it looks like they are hanging mid air

Invisible & Easy to Work With
My wife and I used the 'Beadsmith Illusion Monofilament Bead Cord' to hang flowers for our ceremony. This is much better than using fishing line.Pros: The cord was relatively easy to knot vs. fishing line; is thick enough to see while you are working with it; stiff enough to hold a good knot; and is practically invisible in direct light or against a white background which is exactly what we needed.Cons: The cord snaps when stretched but was strong enough for our purpose

The answer to an art framer's need
As art framers, we need to sew fabric to a backing to frame, and the tread needs to be invisible. We had used the sewing invisible thread but it was so thin it needed to be doubled and was hard to manage that way. Bought this to try instead and it made our job so much easier! The next sports team shirt will be flawlessly attached and beautifully framed.

Invisibly thin. works great for hanging objects under 1 pound
Invisibly thin. Worked great for hanging crystals. This thinness should easily support up to a full pound, maybe a little more. This does not have the "springy-ness" to it that fishing line has, it seems like overloading it will cause it to stretch and snap. Perfect for hanging ornaments and stuff, but I would probably pick something different, with springiness, if I were using this to make, say a bracelet.
