I am a big fan of spelt and it has made a big difference in my health.I thought I knew how great spelt was, until I ordered this flour and it blew the roof off of what I knew spelt could even be.I can FEEL the difference of quality and the benefits my body is getting from having a cleaner, purer and more wholesome kind of product.The organic spelt flour I had been using before just seems like….basic white wheat flour now. I can never go back.To be honest, I wasn’t sure about my first order because of the shipping cost- but I read the description of the farm it was coming from and it seemed worth it and boy am glad I went for it because this family farm is creating something that is so hard to find - true and pure food that can not just benefit our health, but heal it.I recently placed my 2nd order, making now 20 pounds of this amazing sprouted spelt crop which has clearly been grown with love because it comes out in the results.To cover the shipping for this small farm to be able to compete and keep providing this needed nourishment, is well worth it.If we support our farmers, we support ourselves and ensure current and future sustainability and life support.Keep up the good work Granite Mill Farms!

By sprouting the grain before grinding it you get more nutrients. Makes for healthier baked goods.
