Q: Why does amazon sell fake items! then tell the customer to contact the manufacturer i thought this was shipped and sold by amazon??

The Bogart spray cologne I buy at amazon isn't a fake, I've used it since 1980 - 81 Ba ( Before amazon) and it really hasn't changed at all that I can tell (smell) . As for manufacturer, it is Jacque Bogart out of Paris France that makes it, then amazon buys, sells and ships it as needed. I think the answer your looking for is, (Every one is making a buck any way they can and someone must get stepped on.) I have the foot prints on my back to prove it.
