Protecting Her Heart

This has been a fantastic series! A fun time period, an intriguing mystery and hilarious banter and humor have put each of the books in this series firmly on my favorites list. Charlotte and John’s story was one I couldn’t put down. The mystery surrounding the death of Charlotte’s mother when she was a child was one that pulled me in from the beginning and I loved watching Charlotte and John’s relationship grow. I loved everything about this book and entire series!I received a copy of this book from the publisher and also purchased my own Audible copy. I was not required to post a positive review. I loved the first two books in this serious so much and had very high expectations of this book as well, however it fell flat for me. There was a lot of unnecessary repetition, I felt the character development was lacking and the mystery wasn’t as interesting.

What an engaging mystery Protecting Her Heart was. The smoldering romance was also swoon worthy!

I have loved every book in this series and this one does not disappoint. There is a great mystery and a great love story. Recommend every book in this series.
