Overall Incredible Chair With a Few Unfortunate Flaws
Overall, I really like this chair. I received it earlier this morning (writing this at around 6pm), and I have been using it for around 8 hours now to give an initial review. Thankfully I had a mostly free day today so i took some much needed personal time and decided to work on some personal programming projects. I decided to get this chair after my previous chair broke. I am a bit on the large side at 6'2" 285lbs, and I guess my previous chair (bought a few years ago) couldn't handle it anymore and just broke. So I wanted to splurge a little bit and get a nice chair that I knew would be able to support me, and after much deliberation, i arrived at this chair, which had goods reviews and excellent features, according to the product page. Now, to actually discuss the chair, I will create a list of pros and cons based on my personal experience. I have already set up a reminder to come back to this post in 3, 6, 9, and 12 months from now to update my review at these intervals, for a fuller picture and for potential fixes to problems I may figure out later. Now, on to the list.Pros- Extremely comfortable seat: the seat itself, isolated from the backrest and everything else, is extremely comfortable and has been a pleasure to sit in. So far, it is a great improvement over my other chair. It should be noted that thanks to the mesh material of the chair, it is extremely breathable, so even in my extremely hot office, it feels incredible, compared to my previous faux leather chair.- Decently comfortable armrests: Although the armrests lack some much needed adjust-ability, which will be discussed further in the cons section, they are made out of a nice material that doesn't really stick to my sweaty arms and provides good support while typing and such.- Smooth and quiet rolling: The stock wheels on this chair are pretty decent, they function as one would expect from office chair wheels and roll around fine with little to no issue. However, it should be mentioned that after the first few hours, I did wind up switching back to my roller-blade style wheels, as I just like them more.Cons:- Annoying headrest adjustment: The headrest on this chair works great for what it is intended to do, but I had so much frustration and pain from adjusting the headrest that it makes it hard to want to see the good in it. The headrest is designed to be pushed into the headrest slot where there are notches and such to let you increment it's height, which in theory is nice, and takes away any unnecessary complexity, but in reality, I wound up pinching the **** out of my hands multiple times while trying to get the headrest perfect. The tolerance on the headrest section is extremely tight, which makes sense because it has to be for the system that it uses, but with only a few places to grip, and the pressure needed to push it down, it is the perfect finger pinching machine, and has left me with a few very developed bruises on my fingers.- Weird/unusual reclining: The reclining feature on this chair does not work like any chair that I have used previously, rather than a lever that allows you to tilt the chair back slowly, this chair just has two modes for tilting, locked and unlocked. You unlock the chair in the same way that you would usually unlock the rocking on a normal chair, and you lean back and re-lock it at the predefined angle you choose. Overall, it is not a bad system, but on my first attempt I almost screamed, because I was positive I was a goner given just how quick I fell backwards. I was certainly expecting a much slower recline, so I just leaned back expecting some resistance, but there was none to be found, and I about had a heart attack (jokingly of course).- Armrest issues: As mentioned earlier, the armrests unfortunately lack a few features that I would expect of a chair of this price. As seen in the product description, the armrests are 3D, as in they move up/down, left/right, and forward/backwards. Which in almost all cases is perfectly fine, I assumed, potentially naively, that since this chair is marketed towards larger people, that the armrests would be wide enough to allow for wide shouldered people to rest their arms comfortably, but unfortunately that does not seem to the be the case, as they do not go as far to the sides as I would like, and have no side to side adjustments like other chairs at this price point. Thankfully though, I have a clamp on arm rest for my desk that I used with my previous chair that it seems I will be using with this chair as well.- Low lumbar support: I noticed in the product pictures that the lumbar support for this chair seemed shockingly low, but I assumed that the 15° of rotation advertised meant that it could be locked at these different angles and so it should be fine, however, it seems that I was mistaken on that note, which could just be a personal issue, but, nevertheless, it is a little disappointing, given that it is marketed towards tall people. Adjusting the seat depth helps and allows me to get it almost to the right spot if I slouch down a little bit, but I like to sit up very straight while at my desk to have a good posture, and unfortunately with the way this lumbar support is, I am unable to do that comfortably, though I welcome any information on how to fix this issue if there is one.Overall, as stated above, I really like this chair, even with its drawbacks, and I look forward to revisiting this post in the future when I have had more experience with the chair and potentially worked out some fixes to the issues that I am experiencing.Edit (10~ hours of use): I was not expecting to make an edit this soon, but I felt this update warranted it. I have dropped my review down to 2 stars, from 3, because of the lumbar support. At first, it was just a little uncomfortable, but after getting back from shopping and the gym, I sat for another few hours to do some programming, and the lumbar support being too low actually made my back cramp up really bad, which has never happened before. Unfortunately it seems that I am going to have to find a chair with more adjustable lumbar support, but this really puts me in an awkward position, where I’ll be a week or more without a chair while I wait on this one’s replacement to come in.Edit 2: I have adjusted my review to reflect my experience with PatioMage customer support. They were extremely helpful and have given me an offer that allows me to not be without a chair while I wait for the new one to come in. Their customer support is excellent.

Unbeatable Comfort for Expectant Moms
As a pregnant woman working an office job, finding a comfortable chair that supports my growing belly and alleviates discomfort is crucial. I've tried several options, but none delivered the same level of comfort and support as the Ergonomic Office Chair with 3D Armrest, Big and Tall Computer Desk Chair with Adjustable Headrest, Seat Depth, Lumbar Support, Home Office Gaming Chair. This chair has been a lifesaver, and here's why.Firstly, the 3D armrests are a game-changer. They allow me to position my arms in a way that minimizes pressure on my shoulders and back, reducing fatigue and pain. The big and tall design accommodates my expanding body perfectly, providing ample room for my legs and torso. The adjustable headrest and lumbar support are also customizable to suit my specific needs, ensuring that I maintain proper posture throughout the day. Moreover, the seat depth and height adjustment features enable me to fine-tune the chair to my liking. I can alter the angle of the seat to reduce pressure on my lower back and adjust the height to ensure my feet rest flat on the floor. The result? I can work comfortably for extended periods without feeling tired or uncomfortable.Lastly, the build quality and materials used are exceptional. The sturdy metal frame and durable upholstery inspire confidence, and the breathable mesh backing keeps me cool even after hours of sitting. Plus, the smooth rolling casters make it easy to move around my workspace without disturbing colleagues. In summary, this ergonomic office chair has been a godsend during my pregnancy. Its thoughtful design addresses every aspect of comfort and support, enabling me to focus on my work instead of constantly readjusting my seating arrangement. Highly recommended for expectant mothers or anyone seeking superior comfort and ergonomics in their workplace.

Super comfortable
This chair has been a fantastic addition to my workspace. It’s comfortable enough for long work sessions, with great support for my back and neck. The mesh back keeps things cool, and I’ve really appreciated the adjustable features like the armrests and headrest, which let me find the perfect setup. What I’ve noticed most is how much better my posture feels compared to my old chair. It’s sturdy, moves smoothly, and has a clean, professional look that fits right in. Overall, it’s made a noticeable difference in my daily comfort, and I’m really happy with it.

easy to assemble, very sturdy, comfy
I put this together in ~20 minutes, and it was very easy- only a few sets of screws required and the allen key/wrench is included. It's very heavy (box said ~43 pounds, so the chair is probably close to that, which adds to the sturdy feeling. Not concerned about anything plasticy breaking as with cheaper chairs. The lumbar support is very pronounced, and I'm having a hard time getting it in a spot I want. The arm rests are also adjustable, which is nice, but they just move out/in or up/down, and can't flip out of the way. I may even take them off for use with a desk where the chair can't tuck in closer to the desk due to drawers in the way.The wheels roll nicely, and I really like the mesh chair seat and backrest. Mesh feels cleaner and nicer than foam/cushions to me.The only downside so far is that the headrest is very hard to adjust- I think this is just because the pieces are very similar size, and hopefully the more it's adjusted, the easier it will become.

Stiff
Didn’t like anything a hard stiff mesh chair not happy my son is heavier and thought with weight limit would be a good chair and sturdy base maybe the base is sturdy but idk how the mesh is gonna hold up after a long duration and it’s just not comfortable

Poor Quality
I purchased this chair about four months ago and have been using it several times a week. The piston has already failed and will not maintain the height of the chair. Would not recommend.
