Springfield Armory XDS4500H Gun Stock Accessories

I first tried major name brand XDs holsters, none were a good fit for 'me'. They either did not hold the gun close to the body as expected for holsters of that pedigree and/or price range or they were simply too large to be concealable as has because the case more & more recently with paddle/belt holsters...I think they've forgotten these rigs are meant to help CONCEAL a weapon, not 'advertise' it. Springfield's own XDs paddle/belt holster may not look as substantial as major name brand versions but then that is precisely why it works, properly. It helps maintain a concealed profile by keeping weapon close to body and holstered 'low' as all Springfield holsters do with its full 'pass through' design (which works for conceal by keeping the handle/grip of handgun as low as possible thus removing that typical 'signature' often produced by other brand/design holsters. I'd read reviews from other carriers who do 'not' like that feature though for the life of me I cannot rationalize why. As a conceal carrier for MANY years I've tried every brand & type holster there is but I always go back to Springfield's own holsters for their own guns. They just fit the gun expertly, have efficient retention (and extraction), generally wear/perform well as cross-draw as well, and compliment a 'conceal carry' profile better than other brands often achieve with either bulkier or higher grip riding designs/construction. This may look like a simple holster but it does what it was designed for in every way. It is also comfortable with a very easy to affix paddle design...NO fuss whatsoever with paddle as with many brands; yet it is modest in size , comfortable and very secure. My XDs handgun package did not come with the Springfield holster but I wish it had, it would have saved me time/hassle in trial & error with other brands. I should have known better. Just stick with the holster made BY the gun manufacturer FOR their gun when it comes to Springfield...That is my advice.

Fits very snug and the adjustment allows you to set the holster to a comfortable tension. Feels very sturdy. Also puts gun in a very easy to grab position. IT DOES NOT SCAR THE GUN. It's hard to find a holster that doesn't scratch the gun. Bonus it also hangs in my door very well. Beware it does leave a small footprint, if you were planning on truely concealing might want to reconsider. But if your ok with it being a tiny bit visible then it's perfect.

Perfect!! I love the one that came with my XDM subcompact​ 45 ACP but the XDS 9 mm was only the essential package that only came with two magazines. This paddle hoster is perfect! Great quality and fits perfectly. Fast shipping too.

Holds to a belt or directly to jeans very well, easy to draw and replace and at the same time very little movement or rattling. I want the full size version too!

Its a bit overpriced for what it is really. its a mass produced piece of plastic. (kydex) It is tension adjustable, outside waistband so dont think you can use it for ccw purposes. The biggest drawback you will have with these holsters is they don't cover the gun sites and a good portion if not all xds are fiber optic fronts. If you're rolling around the woods or doing tactical drills, you really have a good chance of incurring site damage to your gun. I have a PJ kydex IWB that i love. its about 20 bucks more but it might have been worth it for the owb version. This will work fine for my ocassional range plinking so no harm no foul .

This is a great paddle holster for OWB carry. It fits my XDs perfectly and the adjustable retention gives added security that the gun will not fall out of holster during normal wear. I purchased it to use for everyday carry, but unfortunately, even with shirttail out and baggy shirts, the gun butt still sticks out so far that it's very noticeable. Not a deal buster in Texas where open carry is legal, but I still prefer concealed carry so that I can wear my weapon to work, church, and other places where it is legal. I still plan to use it as a good alternative carry holster, particularly when concealment is not such an issue. The only other issue I've had with this holster is that it doesn't fit very securely on my belt. I've worn it three times since I received it and each time, the entire holster worked it's way almost completely loose, and one time almost fell off. I'm pretty sure I put it on properly, but it catches on seatbelts, armrests, doorknobs, etc. and this is worrisome. The retention keeps the gun securely in the holster, but if the holster isn't securely attached to my pants, that's a moot point. I am extremely pleased with all my other Springfield accessories! I carry the two-magazine belt holster every day with my pistol so that I have a full 20 shots available should I ever (heaven forbid) need them. (I also carry a .380 in an ankle holster with six hollow points and one extra mag with five more.) Hopefully, 31 rounds would be enough for most anything other than Armageddon?!

Fits my XDs 3.3 perfectly. It’s not advertised as a ‘concealed carry’ holster, but it rides pretty close to my body and hides well with an untucked shirt

Really love this holster as it was made to fit my Springfield XDS. Fits perfect and keeps a low profile for conceal carry and just what I expected. I am very happy with the way the holster fits and the fact that it is made by Springfield Armory specifically for my XDS 9mm.
