Small, doesn't get in the way, can use with courses I am learning.
Rather nice. Small and doesn't get in the way of trying to play (my standard is low). I think this will be great playing against a course or video on my TV/laptop and that will allow me to listen to the course and also hear my own playing (whereas a headphone set would need removing/putting back on).I was very happy it has three effects mode and one of them is a kind of overdrive, which looks like it will be fun. Also comes with a charging cable so that will be quite handy. It's also very light and that's always a winner.Rather happy with this.

Great piece of kit for amateur musicians.
For me this is five star. 1. It is very easy to use. 2. Volume is adequate for pub jamming. 3. It takes up little room in my accessory bag. 4. Recharging is simple via USB. 5. It is low price.

A great little device
I bought this as a budget friendly alternative to a Tonewood amp. My main aim was to get a similar kind of reverb effect on acoustic and classical guitar, as the Tonewood and Yamaha transacoustic do, rather than to create substantial added volume or special effects etc. I anticipated correctly, that the clean sound would be limited in scope, due to the very small speaker size. The device is well made and very efficient in its functions. It is excellent on any number of guitars and basses. It charges, via USB, in very short time, and lasts really well in its charged state. It has clean, overdrive and distortion options as well as reverb (and Bluetooth facility). Tone and volume are well calibrated and the whole thing is very user-friendly. It plugs directly into the instrument and situates itself fairly unobtrusively once engaged, depending on where the jack socket is positioned on the guitar. How long it will last is yet to be found out, I’ve only had it for three weeks, but it looks rather promising in that dept.I have found to my delight that the very thing I bought it for, it does extremely well, that is, to add a deep and rich reverb to acoustic guitars. It actually can add some extra volume too - as long as modest settings are selected. With electric guitars, the clean sound is ok, if only very modest in volume - before it breaks up rather badly. The overdrive and distortion options on electrics on the other hand, are quite something. Here, the small speaker isn’t a disadvantage, and quite loud, smooth, creamy and sustained tones are available. I found that Strat style inputs were probably favourable, but it works well with any type. If any swaying movement of the unit is a problem, a small piece of tape will secure it in place perfectly.I am very impressed with this item and really glad I came across it. The price was right too, as they say.My only suggestion for any improvement would be if they could make one around twice the size (the speaker especially), with slightly more in the way of (clean sound) volume, then it would be completely unbeatable.I would thoroughly recommend this unit to anyone looking to try something new in the mini amp experience. It’s a lot of fun and if used in certain ways, could be thought of as groundbreaking.

Absolutely awesome!
This is an awesome device that plugs into any electric guitar or electro acoustic: it does tend to move facing away when plugged into a guitar with the ports on the bottom. With an outlet on the front like a strat design it can be moved to fit against the guitar itself. Even when the amp is facing away it still sounds great. You can even use it with a guitar lead and extender so that it can be placed on a surface. It’s only a 5w amp so don’t expect a big amp sound. It has 3 settings, clean, crunch and distortion. All work really well. Tried it in various guitars and i am very impressed with it.The Bluetooth connectivity is always on, when using Bluetooth it pairs easily with a device and this device controls the volume level instead of the amp. You can use this for backing tracks to play along to. Or use it as a portable mini speaker for music. It’s seriously awesome, charges via USB cable, it doesn’t come with a plug though. The manual states to use a 5v plug, anything above this is not really advised. Most USB plugs are 5v but just check before charging.

Great piece of kit!
I wanted a mini amp for casual solo sessions without having the hassle of setting up my larger amp and this serves that purpose perfectly. Good volume and the effects are decent for when you're just playing at home. My only side note is that it defaults to reverb on when I turn it on and I'd prefer it off as default. There may be a way to solve this and I haven't found it yet. Overall, great kit for the price

Love this thing
OK, you're not going to wow the crowds at the Marquee or Fillmore with this, but for practising and perhaps jamming with friends it is brilliant. Being able to just plug this in, no lead, no external amp, and just play is so convenient, even if you've only got a spare 10 minutes (where normally you wouldn't want to make the effort to setup). It goes loud enough to cause the wife to complain (well it would if I dared!), and the three effect types are well chosen, going from a clean sound with a little reverb, a modest overdrive/distortion where you can still hear bum notes (like it or not, when you practice you do need to hear when you're playing it wrong), to a satisfying heavy distortion where you can just sit back and enjoy playing. It's rechargeable (USB type) and seems to go for a reasonable time on a single charge. I thoroughly recommend this little device, but one word of warning. Although it suggests it will fit Fender Strats with their recessed input sockets, the jack plug wouldn't fully insert on mine. As I was enjoying using it on a Les Paul but wanted to use it on the Strat, I bought a flat input plate (made by Montreux Parts and purchased from Armstrong Music in the UK), which solved it. If your guitar has the input socket on the edge or top mounted (not recessed) you shouldn't have an issue. The unit has a bluetooth function as well, allowing you to pair it to a device (such as your phone) and play music through the Lekato, whether for a backing track or just to have some sounds. I haven't tried that as yet. Overall it seems nicely made, too (it is, of course, made in China, so that comment isn't always a given).
