Fresh, full flavor!
Currently in the US, lived most life in Spain. And this hits so well! I say I'll eat half at most, wind up eating whole piece. I will definitely be continually ordering this. "Have Spain at home." Recommended!!

Went bad before expiration date/great customer service
The product itself is good I have purchased before, but this particular batch is bad, it has mold in it, the expiration date is set for March 2022, but it is bad now Nov 8, 2021, and the sad part is, i can’t return itI am updating my review to add a note about the seller, they have an excellent customer service and even though I was way past my returning window, they went ahead and gave me a full refund for the bad product. As I have mentioned before, the Product is good, I never had this issue before with it, and now I can honestly say, that the seller is an honest and decent people. Thank you!

Good chorizo
The chorizo arrived without any of the mold that others have reported. I went in know this was a possibility, and I accepted the risk. This product has no preservatives, so mold just means that they aren't lying about that. The taste is good as is the smell and texture. I don't have any other frame of reference for other chorizo, and once I do I will update my review and rating. For now, I would say you can order, knowing it could be moldy, but that is a risk of using preservative-free food.

Love these
I buy these all the time. Authentic Chorizos. I buy them all the time, picante and regular. Worth trying if you haven't done so already. Just like the ones back in Spain

Chorizo 101 - white powder on casing
If this is a quality dried fermented sausage like chorizo or a good salami then that white powder is in fact mold. It's an essential part of curing the sausage. It's probably penicillium nalgiovense and helps to cure the sausage without nasty bacteria forming. The casing may be natural but these days is more likely to be a manufactured product.Don't worry, both are edible. To remove the white powder, just wipe the Palacios chorizo with olive oil.Palacios chorizo is incredibly mild, very flavorful and some of the best chorizo I've ever had.Highly recommended!
