These socks have worked great for me. I'm not diabetic but have a lot of swelling in my feet and calves. Compression socks do not work for me, they are way too tight. I like knee socks and I guess because I am short, these crew socks are more like knee socks on me. They are thick cotton, which I much prefer over that nylon material the compression socks are made from. My feet are sensitive to EVERYTHING, and these socks make me feel protected. I have had multiple surgeries on both feet and my toes are disfigured and feet are sensitive to both light and touch...I cannot deal with my feet being exposed since they are so sensitive and these thick but comfortable socks do the trick. I have an issue with my right sock twisting throughout the day ( because the foot is disfigured) and it still happens with these socks but they are still the most comfortable I have found. No thick band at the top digging into my leg. I got these in black, white, and multicolored and wear them every day, I just wish they made them a little longer like a true knee sock, and then they would be perfect.

The socks are awesome. They stay up, but do not leave any marks on my leg. They are perfect, non-binding and comfortable.

I am diabetic and retain water in my legs. Need socks that won't leave a tight band around my legs.

I purchased for my mom who is not a diabetic, but has issues with feet swelling. The socks work well for her. Very soft and stretch so she doesn't get the band marks on her legs. She loved the array of colors too. They shopped fast and that helped.
