Sturdy and Strong for Such a Small Sander
The media could not be loaded. I picked up the Blissthrill mini belt sander mainly for small-scale metal shaping and wood detail work, and it’s been a surprisingly capable addition to my workbench. It’s compact, runs smooth, and comes with more accessories than I expected for the price. The first thing that stood out to me was the build quality. The frame is solid stainless steel—not cheap stamped metal—and it feels durable even though it’s small. It doesn’t take up much space, which is a big plus when you’ve already got a cluttered bench. Even so, I stick it under my workbench on one of the shelves.Performance-wise, the motor is strong enough for light-duty tasks. I’ve used it on knife blanks, resin, and a few pieces of hardwood trim. The 7-speed adjustment (from 4000 to 9000 RPM) is great for dialing in just the right amount of bite. For precision work, having that kind of control has made a difference for me in a couple of my projects already.Until now, I only had an old, larger belt sander, the kind with a 4 x 36 belt. Some of the toys in my garage shop can make a whole lot of noise, but this sander is reasonably quiet, doesn’t vibrate much so it doesn’t rattle around and it handles my projects without seeming like it's getting bogged down under the pressure of a heavy load. I wouldn’t call it industrial-grade, but it’s more than enough for the kind of projects I tackle. It came with a generous pack of sanding belts and discs in various grits, plus a few polishing accessories that I’ve started testing out on metal. There’s also a polishing wheel, some compound, and even a motor cover, that’s a nice little touch. For the money, it’s a complete little sander kit.The one thing I had to address was the stability. It’s light, which makes it easy to move, but I had to mount it down to keep it from sliding when applying any real pressure. Once bolted, no problems.Pros:-Smooth operation with adjustable speed-Plenty of sanding belts and polishing accessories included-Takes up very little space on the bench-Well-built from 304 stainless steel-Good control for detail workCons:-Needs to be secured for stable use-Not designed for large or heavy-duty jobsFor what it’s designed to do—detail work, knife shaping, small wood or metal sanding—it absolutely delivers. If you're into hands-on projects and want a small, reliable sander at a very good price that won’t break the bank, this one’s worth it. I love it and you just might too.

Brought My Premium Knives Back to Life - Worth the Effort!
I have a large collection of Wusthof knives (around 30 pieces), and they had gotten embarrassingly dull – practically useless, crying out for a good sharpening! Since they're premium knives, I knew I needed a more serious, premium sharpening solution rather than a simple pull-through gadget. I was looking for something that would do them justice. This mini belt sander sharpener perfectly fit the bill. Let's be clear: this isn't a quick, 10-second fix like some basic sharpeners. It definitely takes time and a bit of attention to work through each knife properly, especially with a large set like mine. However, the results are absolutely worth the investment in time. The final edge it puts on the knives is phenomenal. My Wusthofs feel factory-sharp again, truly like new. The difference is night and day compared to how they were.If you have premium knives and are looking for a sharpener that delivers exceptional, like-new results (and you understand it requires more effort than basic models), then this is an excellent choice. It successfully resurrected my entire Wusthof collection! Highly recommended.

Great for crafts
My wife enjoys it. Great for her crafts. This should probably come with an age warning.

Adorable but Useful
Adorable! This thing is so little and cute lol but it's also very useful. Great at helping get an edge on my amature forged knives. Relatively quite which is very important to me and surprisingly powerful. Great for those of us limited on space.

Mini but powerful
Absolutely love this mini belt sander! It’s perfect for knife making and small detail work. The variable speed settings make it super versatile, whether I'm sharpening blades or sanding down metal and wood. Compact, powerful, and easy to adjust—great value for the quality. Great tool for any DIY or workshop setup!

Decent Tool for DIY, but Could Be Better
I’ve been using the mini belt sander for a few DIY projects, and it’s been okay, but not perfect. The 7 adjustable speeds are a nice touch, and the 15° angle works well for knife making. It’s compact and powerful enough for smaller tasks, and the belt changes are fairly easy. However, it does have some drawbacks. The sander can get a bit noisy, especially at higher speeds, and I’ve noticed that it’s not as smooth as I expected when working on metal. It’s great for small projects, but if you’re looking for something that can handle more heavy-duty work, this might not be the best option. Overall, it’s decent for light DIY and knife making, but not the best in terms of power and smoothness.

Great for small projects
Better than I expected. I bought this to knock the serrated edge off some of my knifes and it made short work of grinding them smooth and putting an edge back on them. For the price you really can’t go wrong with this for small projects.
