KATE FARMS Organic Pediatric Blended Meal for oral or tube feed nutrition. this is a great new foods that is and will help a lot of kids out! I have been reading into Kate farms for a while now. with this new line of tube feeding, back in November 2023. this company will do great things!Squash and Carrot, 8g protein, organic whole foods Gluten Free, Non-GMO, 8.45 oz (12 Pack)its very thin so if not used for tube feeding it can be drunk out of a sippy cup. it smells good, not like you normal pouch liquid foods. I tased it.. now it's not for me but it wasn't gross either.this little pouch has 250 calories, plant-based, 9g of protein tons of vitamins B12!! this pouch is designed for tube feeding, you can easily transition between tube, drinking or in a spoon directly from the pouch.I would definitely recommend this brand!!

I received this product through Subscribe and Save on October 6th with the expiration date written on the product stamped as October 8th. I contacted the seller and he erroneously (and irresponsibly) stated that this is the sell by date and it is good for another 3 months. I contacted Kate Farms directly and they stated to throw away the product as that is the expiration date. Amazon did refund this product (it is typically non-refundable). However, this ordeal left me mistrusting this product, the seller, Amazon. I am scared to purchase Kate Farms ever again.

Overly priced especially dealing with a picky eater FTT not worth it compared to others with more weight gain ingredients

The Kate Farms Pediatric Blended Meals note that they are a “sole-source formula,” so a pouch can be a full, nutritious meal for a small child. Each pouch is a full cup. I like that the main ingredients are organic, and organic ingredients are hard to find in these types of formulas. I also like that there is 9g of protein, primarily from pea protein. I do not like that one of the main ingredients is sunflower oil, which can cause inflammation. I wish they had used avocado or olive oil instead. I also think there is too much oil. I can even taste it. A pouch contains 11g of fat, including 3g of trans fat. The pouches contain added vitamins and minerals, including cholecalciferol (Vit D3) and copper sulfate. The consistency is like a watery smoothie. The taste is what you’d expect from butternut squash, carrots, and buckwheat. There is a bit of chalkiness but not too bad. I tasted it plain and at room temperature, and it was not that pleasant for my palate. My partner liked it better than I did straight from the pouch. I next warmed it up and added some black pepper and spices, and it tasted like a butternut squash soup—much better!

Please don't think this is your regular grocery store food for kids. I would say this is PRIMARILY for special use cases like tube feeding due to GI problems or other issues that would require tube feeding. Flavor is NOT the focus here. A good, healthy sole source of nutrition for your little one is the focus. Of course the option for traditional mouth feeding is there and yes be wary that the flavor is not very palatable unless your little one is a real champ about it.This is a great option for parents, kids, whoever that need a healthy nutrition source that is accessible in its feeding and digestability. These pouches are packed with nutrients that will sustain your health. We can go back and forth and nitpick on the specific ingredient choices like sunflower oil over other oils but in the end, this is a great option for tube feeding primarily and mouth feeding if you're up to it.

Terrible taste. It could not be returned. No help was given by Amazon, that ended my chat with the default message saying that my satisfaction blabla, valued costume, blabla.Not a cheap item and no satisfactory resolution!

DISCLAIMER: This review is solely based on my personal exeprience/usage of the product. Yours might be different.Taste super great! Very butternuty flavor mixed with squash. I was originally afraid that it could be too sweet but after tasting it, it's only a bit slightly sweet (the same level as when you eat squash naturally). Very happy with the product and the packaging is easy to use. Just twist the cap off and drink! The only thing I'd suggest the company is to change the packaging to something degradable because now it looks like just plain old plastic packaging.

The description says it's for tube OR oral feeding, but it's clear this is only really intended for tube feeding. The contents are VERY liquid-y, there's no "consistency" to this at all so it's basically unusable besides using a tube.That by itself isn't a big deal, unfortunately it also tastes and smells pretty bad (Squash and Carrot). Might be just me, but it reminds me of dog food. My baby also doesn't seem to like it at all. I kinda wish I got to try to fruity flavors, but I will not be getting this again to find out if thats better.Overall, don't buy unless this is EXACTLY what you want. Not worth trying out IMO.
