You definitely get what you pay for. This dog food is worth the money and my dogs enjoy it. Look at the real, whole-food ingredients listed on the bag and it is air-dried to preserve nutrients. The other big name brands' kibble is full of rendered animals that sit outside for weeks in the elements (hooves, fur and all), ground up and baked at extremely high temperatures and then filled with byproducts/fillers like rice, corn, wheat and meal. Then to make it all "healthy", they add in synthetic vitamins and spray it with flavor to make it more appetizing. Watch Pet Fooled documentary if you would like to know what you are really feeding your dog. That is why so many of the dogs who eat kibble seem to have chronic vomiting and diarrhea, allergies, skin issues, as well as more serious conditions. There is very little oversight in dog food and AAFCO only provides "standards" and "guidelines" to which no one ever enforces. I am passionate about dog nutrition and have done tons of research, taken dog nutrition courses and I cook my own dog food. When I don't cook my own dog food, my dogs get to eat Badland's Ranch and a few other carefully selected brands. I believe that wholesome food saves us money in vet visits since my dogs stay healthy and only ever have to see the vet for their annual checkups.

Our 8 year old Yorkie has been enjoying Badlands Ranch Superfood Chicken Flavor for the past 2 years and we couldn't be happier with the results! I was just watching her eat and thought, what a great product. I should write a review! As our little girl ages, we’ve noticed her teeth have become more sensitive, making it essential to find a food that she can enjoy without discomfort. This product has been a game changer for us.First and foremost, the texture of the food is perfect for her. It’s soft enough for her to bite and chew comfortably, yet still has a satisfying consistency that encourages her to chew rather than gulp. She seems to really enjoy the taste, which is a huge plus! Every mealtime feels like a treat for her, and it’s been great to see her enthusiasm for her food again. We also give her Dr Marty’s but she will always go for the Badlands first.Moreover, I love that this superfood blend is packed with quality ingredients. Knowing that she’s getting a nutritious meal that supports her health, especially at her age, gives me peace of mind as the guardian of my little bestie. The chicken flavor is clearly a hit, as she eagerly waits for her bowl and even dances a little when she sees me preparing her food! We do sometimes buy the beef flavor for a change of pace.We've also noticed some positive changes in her overall vitality since we started feeding her Badlands Ranch. She seems more energetic and playful, which we truly appreciate.My experience leads me to say that we feel Badlands Ranch Superfood Chicken Flavor is an outstanding choice for older dogs, particularly those with sensitive teeth (this is hard dog food). Our Yorkie loves the taste, the texture is great on her mouth, and the ingredients are top-notch. If you’re looking for a nutritious and tasty option for your bestie, I highly recommend giving this food a try!

My dogs go crazy for it and love it. Only reason it's not 5* is because it's so expensive, packaging size is not practical for multiple dogs. Lastly I've been using as a topper since it came out and some of the batches are like saw dust texture instead of complete pieces which is a complete rip off given the cost and size of the bag given it's already not being adequately sized.But it's a great product my dogs love and deserve,just wish it wasn't so expensive. Great taste and the most nutritional for your dogs health. Easily chewable for all dog types

My dogs dance if they even hear the rustle of the bag. I can only sporadically sprinkle it onto their food b/c for me, the price is forbidding. Formulating, sourcing and processing all of those excellent ingredients is expensive, so no complaints.The excellent infomercial convinced me of the potential quality, and yes, it is high quality food. Daily, the dogs attentively wait, watching my every move, hoping to hear the rustle of the bag. It's very apparent the taste is excellent. It is fresh and doesn't have a disgusting odor like some have. I like the way it's formed, too, with bigger chunks and smaller ones. It's somewhat hard and gives their teeth a workout, which they're very happy to do.Although I only sprinkle it every couple of days, they do get diarrhea. But it probably can't be avoided when consuming all of the great ingredients included. And it's probably good to clean out their systems every few days anyway -- as long as they're outside. LOLThank you, Badlands. I'm certain these guys dream of big bowls of Badlands during naps!
