This is a great series by Bryan Davis. LOVE IT!
Written by a 12 year old boy: "Enoch's Ghost" was a wonderful book filled with a bunch of excitement and a lot of action. This story's real message was really about which side to pick. The story starts off with Ashley, Karen, and Walter all riding on Thigocia's back. When they land on a mountain and are then intercepted by Arramos who asks Thigocia to come with him. When she doesn't comply, he grabs Karen and throws her off the mountain. He then threatens to throw more people if she doesn't come. When she says yes, he reveals to the humans a staircase that winds down. The teens go down and the dragons fly up and away. At the bottom they find Karen, a bunch of giants, (who work for Mardon and who are also trying to make a portal to heaven and hell) and a girl with white hair who says that Ashley's brother and sister are invisible and are following her. After they fight off the giants they find out that the girl's name is Sapphira and she really is who she says she is. Later, Ashley's brother Gabriel, who is a human with wings, and Roxil, who is a dragon, appear to them as well. Walter and Gabriel later find that the giants run on light. They also find out Mardon's plan and they together try to stop him, but a giant named Chazaq stops them and overpowers them. Karen tries to kill a different giant named Bagowd, but the giant kills her. To find out what happens next you will have to read it. Bryan Davis is a great writer and out of all the wonderful characters, I like Walter best. He always stands firm in his faith, he has the most awesome sword, and he trusts and has the trust of his friends. "Enoch's Ghost" is a wonderful book with lots of excitement and I enjoyed every bit and I am looking forward to reading "Last of the Nephilim."Would I/Did I buy it? YES, we own the whole seriesWould I read it again? YesWould I recommend it to friends? YES

Enoch's Ghost
This book was wonderful! It was so exciting, and I loved it. I read it in four days. I didn't take it to school because if I did, I probably would read through class and not be able to pay attention. I had to be sure to save it for after school when I had more time.Although in this book, Billy only appears in this story in a scene where he is talking to Walter on his cell phone, the plots and descriptions make it so you can hardly miss Billy and Bonnie! I really like both the new and old main characters in Enoch's Ghost, and I really enjoyed the descriptions of Heaven's Altar and of Heaven. In addition to Walter, Ashley, and Karen, Sapphira, Acacia (the oracles of fire), and Elam are among others who appear once again in Enoch's Ghost. In Enoch's Ghost, Mardon tries to make a new tower like Nimrod's, but with this one he hopes to join Earth and Heaven. It's up to Walter and all his friends to stop Mardon's evil plan!Enoch's Ghost was well written, and I hope that you will read it as well!

great writer, excellent books
I finished the first book the Eye of the Oracle just yesterday. If I didn't have to work I'd never put these stories down. It's a must read for those of us who love fantasy but are Christian, and are torn between the two genres of mystical folklore and the factual pull of our beliefs in God, and the written word of the Bible. God Bless Bryan Davis for giving us the best of both worlds without twisting what the bible says and taking the attention and credit away from our Lord. This is a good sized book for a paperback, bigger than average. The font is a good size and easy to read, and the pages hold together well. Most impressive of all the book is a fun read for any age, and you care about the characters and their strife.

Amazing!
I loved this book. Every moment of it was great. It was suspenseful, the plot was elaborate, and I did not want to put it down. I loved the new characters and settings. It's perfect for all ages. The spirituality in this book is wonderful, I enjoyed the combination of fantasy and Scripture. A very exciting read, recommended to everyone!

Yet another AMAZING read! What I like most about this book was the mix of modern and fantasy! I loved all of the biblical ties too. Can't wait to keep reading this series! Fantastic Mr. Davis!

Good, clean fantasy series
Daughter (age 12) loves the series and couldn't wait to begin the next book. Oracles of Fire is a fantasy series with some biblical themes and principles, but it is not an allegory. It is clean...no language, innocent romance.

I love this fantasy series by Bryan Davis
I love this fantasy series by Bryan Davis. A Christian version of the king Arthur legend focusing on the dragons. Great read for anyone who is a fan of dragons, King Arthur, or just loves fantasy fiction.

missing son
My son has been unable to be found since this book arrived in the mail - so it must be pretty good! He's only surfacing for meals, then rushing back to find out what comes next. I'm sure I'll know when he's finished it, as he might come up for air (and a shower). Any good book that engages him like this, and has a good moral story, gets five stars from me!
