Great little punch, plus AMAZING service!
I've ordered from many online companies, including through Amazon, but NEVER have I recieved such superb customer service!! SEASIDE TRADING responded within only an hour to a concern I had about the particular hole punch I received. He offered to make my purchase satisfactory in any way I wished. He wrote several times to answer some questions, and even, unasked, opened and tested out a replacement to be sure it worked well, then offered to send that exact one to me that day. And he did, requiring no returns. He also offered several tips/suggestions on using it successfully, and attached a photo of how he had just done so! I was treated so kindly, and I ended up with a perfect replacement!Perhaps this review sounds "over-the-top", but I'll order from Seaside Trading again in a heartbeat. Oh, ... and I love my little Rolodex punch! Works great!

Handy Item!
Recently had to replace my old Rolodex because the bigger cards have gone the way of the buffalo. Got this gadget to punch holes in business cards because I was tired of taping them to cards. Good news is it really does the job well (you have to push hard to get it to work, but that's no biggie). Bad news (and this is in no way the fault of the gadget) is that some people put their phone numbers and email addresses at the bottom of their business cards, right where the punch does its work, so I may end up taping some up anyway.

Poorly designed, non-functional over-priced plastic junk.
The Rolodex One-Sheet Business Card punch is NOT worth the money. It's made entirely of plastic, including the cutting edges. The amount of force needed to punch anything is quite high, and then it's just as difficult to pull the punch back apart. Once it's apart you've got to pry the paper/business card/whatever back off of the punchers so it's a ragged mess by the time you're finished. The worst part, though, is that it punches the wrong shape! It punches a bubble-letter T shape, instead of the classic Rolodex square-with-a-skinny-base shape. While the punches are in the correct spot for the bars on my flat Rolodex file, the punch shapes don't fit around the bars. I'm going to have to go back over everything with a regular round hole punch to try to enlarge the shape. For some reason my punch came with a solid black bar-shaped sticker on the front covering the patent number, stock number, and the words "2000 Merrick Line EPS-T...Taiwan". If you look closely at the photo you can see the blank space where the bar is. I don't know what that's about so I'm just passing along the information. This seems to be the only Rolodex punch available anywhere at the moment if you want to buy new. Don't buy it. Do like I'm going to and look for a classic used one that will actually work.

Beats the heck out of
writing all the info from the hundreds of business cards I receive onto either my computer or on rolodex blank cards. I use this punch to correctly alter those cards to fit on my Rolodex files. No sweatski, as we used to say in the military cold-war days. This pproduct would be even better if it was metal rather than plastic, or priced about $6 cheaper as it should be, but it still does the trick.

Plastic. And hope you're strong to punch through those cards with this thing. Still working after 100 cards but could be better.
It is plastic. And the leverage required to punch through a card is substantial---if you take care of your hands or are not strong, this isn't for you. Unfortunately, as far as I know or can find, this is the ONLY punch that matches the Rolodex. I'd pay dearly for a metal one with real leverage, like a hole punch. On the plus side, I've used it on about 100 cards and it still works, very surprised.

Punches holes in business cards just fine
I was skeptical that a plastic hole puncher could punch holes in business cards and work well. But, this hole puncher does just that.I punched holes in a big stack (100?) of business cards (1 at a time) and it still punches just fine. As others have said, you do need to line it up and see if the hole puncher will be getting rid of a phone number or email address or something and write that elsewhere on the card if it does. But, the holes are perfect for my Rolodex.I guess I didn't need a metal hole puncher after all.

Does not work with A-Z 3x5" rolodex cards
I purchased this punch thinking it would help me organize my cards with my A-Z rolodex cards. The punch created holes that had a much smaller gap in between them than my rolodex A-Z cards, so the holes do not align. Also, the punch does not have a centering mechanism to make sure the holes are centered.

These are NOT as cheaply made as they look.....
I'm impressed. I expected flimsy plastic. True, only over time will I be able to know HOW well it stands up.I have a BUNCH of old business cards that I want to use for something other than note cards. This will let me use the back side and utilize in a standard Rolodex. It is designed to punch ONE card AT A TIME. I think that will be the key to how well it stands up.
