What's not to like?
If you are in the market for a decent little pneumatic die grinder, I think you will like this one. It's affordable, and does what it's supposed to do. I've put about 20 hours on mine, and it's still going strong. Make sure to lubricate liberally and often, as you should with many pneumatic tools. It will heat up fast if not lubricated, but operates quite well otherwise.

This is rather tedious and it is also a bit hard on the ...
I normally do not take the time to review a product since there are many reviews already but this item is worth a review. I restore carburetors for Porsche cars and after machining operations are completed on the aluminum bodies I soften the sharp edges by hand using manual deburring tools, scrapers and files. This is rather tedious and it is also a bit hard on the hands and elbows. I thought that trying this pencil sized die grinder would be worth the price and in spite of some of the negative reviews I bought one.Short story: Works like a champ! Smooth running and seems to be well made. I use a flow control valve to adjust total air flow to the tool to slow it down a little and with a carbide bit installed it makes my deburring job a lot easier! I do wear ear protection since it does make a high pitched racket which I happily accept for the improvement in my work.I do not have a comment regarding longevity or how robust the grinder is. It does run smoothly and there are no run-out issues like other users have reported.

Great for the cost, note about tooling & usage
FOr the cost, this thing is awesome. Especially when used with high flow fittings or direct attachment to the pneumatic source.I'm currently doing light engraving work in aluminium and stainless (304), and deburring. It works fine for those purposes, but for engraving control at higher speeds is non-existant so don't expect to use it for that.My biggest gripes are that:- for an air tool, it gets *hot.* Normally I expect to see exhaust used to help cool units, but since exhaust is ducted out the back I'm guessing it doesn't have enough flow around the chassis.- The ducted exhaust out the back happens in the space between the intake hose and the plastic tubing that comes from the body. This tubing is just friction fit and has come off when in use, which will blast air on the operator. Whilst not typically harmful to the operator, it's liable to make someone screw up what they're working on when it jerks. I'd put a hose clamp on it.- the speed adjustment is not granular and unmarked. Nor a huge deal once you get a feel for it.- As some have noted, expect to need new tooling as it's a smaller 3mm chuck.Again, for the cost of this thing I'm fine sticking a hose clamp on it.

Amazing deal
First u have to oil it! Every day you use it! It is not a turbine grinder it is a pencil grinder! Turbine grinders run dry oil will slow them.. pencil grinders will get hot in hand if not oiled from friction. They will gal and loose rpm permenatly! Dont use a moisture trap u have to oil it! Second if tool or burr runout is so paramount u cant have a .001" runout u need to have as little bit sticking out as possible if it is not solid carbide or the bit itself can bend and cause vibrations from the speeds. For $40 u will not find a better option. In fact under $175 u wont! This one is better than the blue astro brand because if the hose is cut or burned it can be cut and re installed. The astro is crimped and much more difficult to repair. We use these on hardened die steel daily. Very good but our mind carbide bits spin tru. If u have issues try to re install in the collet at a proper amount of torque. Alternatives are $600 dynabride turbine grinders that run even faster but when u add pressure to the cut they lose speed. Not only that they break doen easy i could see buying one but our shop has about 10 in parts all broke over time. We reused parts from old ones as long as we could. These little pencil grinders can do 98% of yhe jobs. They are really amazing. So often we have to weld and rework the hardened steel in very confined areas no angle grinder could fit. These do the job and do it great. At about 3 hours use per week they last 12-18 months. They still work but are slower. They could be takem apart and renewed with new parts but for $40 why.. the parts will cost over half that alone..

Too much vibration
I didn't like it. It vibrates and generated a bit too much heat. The cheaper version is better.

... An EXCELLENT little light duty tool ....
... An EXCELLENT little tool .... to be used carefully .... very lightweight ... particularly good for very light/delicate polishing and or modelling work ... very well made ... but be careful its not abused ... I use it for work that the 'Dremel' is too brutal for ... I am VERY happy with it.

Good product
The product itself is amazing, works great, good quality and has power to it. But when it arrived. It wasn’t packaged in anything. Was on my door step in its box that says what it is with the picture. Just had the shipping label on it. That is upsetting to me because someone walking by could of easily saw what it was and stole it.
