❤️Best chew for 7mth staffordshire bull terrier ❤️
The media could not be loaded. Fast next day delivery so that was great. My staffy pup is now got too strong, even for dense bones, antlers, jerky etc....an I worry about sharp splinters. This coffee root is amazing, air sealed packed an been smoothed down too so,no risk of him cutting his gums.I got the biggest one an it's pretty big.Let's see how long it lasts?but it's looks like it's gonna last awhile an for a staff, that's good.....He loves it...😁

Dog loves it!
My dog absolutely loves this product. She is a very enthusiastic chewers (lab/pointer cross). I have given 4 stars as, initially, the product was leaving a lot of wood bits all over the place. However, she now seems to have chewed all that off and is able to chew the product without the mess that was created. So....we are now both very pleased with the product.

Dog enjoyment
I bought one that was a bit large. But that didn’t stop my dog enjoying. Hoping it works on the teeth to help clean.

Staffy pup loves it
Our 4-month-old staffy - a dedicated furniture chewer - absolutely loves this medium coffee root. Just the right size for her to carry and be excited by, but not so big it's intimidating. Nice and smooth. Bit expensive but don't regret purchase.

Very good chew toy, sized for huge dogs
We have a golden who loves the stick version of these, so thought we would give this a try. She does like it, but our particular dog likes to carry her toys around, and this is a bit too heavy even for a dog her size! There's also the issue that when she drops it, someone's feet are often under it. Great for huge breeds, might suit those with stronger jaws, too.

Watch out for the splinters
The dogs love chewing on this and seems to help clean teeth. You do get wood splinters coming off though so I'd use outside so you don't end up with a mess in your house.

Great value, more engaging than others
My dog is really fussy and never commits to chewing chews. I really want to find something he likes as he's almost 5 and needs it for his teeth (and to calm him). So far, this has gone better than most.Pros:• Large size• Knobbly texture• Very durableCons:• My picky dog loses interestSo, I've seen this brand before and see that they are a pet-specific brand. They do a lot of different shaped chews, and I've not tried any in this design before. It's made of coffee tree root which is a durable wood without splintering that is getting popular in the dog chew market. This one arrived and is about the size of two of my small fists. I unwrapped it and it feels smooth, with little Knobbly bits sticking out.My boy was instantly interested. He's a medium-sized breed, but had no issue picking up the large size. He knew to chew it and got to work on it and spent a good amount of time gnawing away. He'll do this every now and then, but frustratingly he'll lose interest quite quickly. So even though he does chew this (better than most chews I've tried), he still only does it for a little while and then gives up.Overall, I give it good marks on what it is and the quality. Price-wise it's really reasonable compared to the stick designs. So it's a great alternative and far better than rawhide. However, it can't get full marks as it hasn't totally engaged my pup sadly - but he likes it more than most!

Great for strong chewers - safer than antlers
For reference, my dog is 27kg and the Woodbone Coffee Tree Root Dog Chew is size XL.This is a good quality, robust, well sized natural chew.My dog is not a chewer at all; in fact he ignores most chews and toys, so i was pleasantly surprised when he was very keen to just his jaws on it.The chew is a decent weight, with no sharp edges, no splits and nicely sanded down edges. Its lovely and smooth to the touch. In hindsight, an XL is probably too large for my dog, but as its a natural product and they will vary in shape, it may simply be the fact this one is quite squat and fat. He does struggle to get any decent purchase, but it still keeps him busy and entertained. The wood itself is quite hard, but not so much that there would be a risks of dental issues like slab fractures (first and only time my dog has an antler chew he broke a tooth and has to see a specialist - i was told that antler chews are not safe and far too hard for dogs, hence trying wood instead).I would feel happy leaving my dog with this as there is no risk of him swallowing it or choking on it. If you have a power chewer then i would supervise use. My dog is more of an occasional grinder and nibbler. In fact, he hasnt left a single tooth mark in it yet. Maybe he is just a lazy chewer. The price is very reasonable. I can see this lasting for a significant amount of time.
