Well made value for money keyboard. My son loves it

Let me start out by saying that I am very picky about keyboards. I type around 79 wpm at 99% accuracy so the feel of the keyboard is very important to me. After I recently upgraded my gaming machine I decided to go on the hunt for a new mechanical keyboard. I tried multiple keyboards including a razer huntsman mini, all of those options left me disappointed. The huntsman was particularly disappointing since it's also a very pricy keyboard so I was expecting much more. I then saw this keyboard on sale for 49 so I decided to give it a shot and that was a great decision. This keyboard greatly exceeded my expectations and is playing well above it's pay grade.Things I love about this keyboard--Build quality. Outstanding. This base of this thing is mostly made of metal. The razer, etc. were made of plastic and feel flimsy to me.-Key response/feel. Being a touch-typer I didn't know how I would feel about the red switches as I've heard from several folks that red switches are more geared for gaming (which I do but not as often as I would like to these days :)). I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The red switches are nice and quiet unlike the previous clicky switches I tried previously. They are also very responsive but have not caused any typing errors at all.- The RGB on this keyboard is a very nice touch and also the ability to use it wirelessly if I want (though I've been using it with the USB-C cord so far). I really like the pattern options and the ability to change up the colors to match whatever mood I'm feeling that day.I've only had the keyboard for a few days and rarely write reviews on Amazon but the deal on this keyboard has definitely exceeded my expectations so I felt it was worth a review. Redragon seems to really provide a lot of bang for buck as I also bought their headset which has been phenomenal for me.

This keyboard is really nice. It's actually unbeatable for the price. I'm coming from a Poker 2 mechanical kb and I like this just as much if not more. I wore the Poker out over the years gaming and typing a whole lot, so instead of soldering in new keys, I decided to just buy a new keyboard and save myself a lot of trouble. I did a bunch of research and decided to try one of these Redragon K556 TKL keyboards with the quiet linear reds. I feel I made a very good decision.What I like:Hotswap keys, so nice to not worry about resoldering when one of them needs replacingThe RBG lighting is so nice and looks great. There are many different settings to please anyone.The Keys are very quiet, especially the spacebar, which on some keyboards is very noisyThis thing is super durable and solid. It's heavy duty and well made.This keyboard is very nice looking. I love the flat board with the keys on full display. Very nice!The keycaps are nice to type on and look great. The RGB lights shine through perfectly.The price is just right. Some Mechanical Keyboards are needlessly expensive. This feels and looks like an expensive keyboard. They also include some extra keys with the purchase. This is an amazing value in my opinion.I'd recommend this brand and this specific keyboard to anyone who likes gaming and Mechanical Keyboards.

For the price this is a very good keyboard. If this is your first mechanical keyboard, here are some things to know about it.-You will probably want to upgrade the switches. The included switches work fine, but you can get a better experience (less wobble, more precision, better sound) by upgrading. Even a low cost set of Outemu switches are an improvement. I recommend getting pre-lubed switches. Otherwise everyone has different preferences for tactile response, weight, and sound level.-The keycaps have a texture which is nice, but they feel on the cheap side, so I am planning to upgrade them.I also have a Glorious GMMK keyboard which is higher end but has a similar layout. This Redragon performs the same function at a lower price and adds wireless, so it seems like a better value. The Redragon has screwed on aluminum endcaps as opposed to the solid build of the GMMK, but I don't notice that in regular use.Overall this Redragon is a great keyboard for the price.
