Helmet Quick Release Buckle

This was perfect for a motorcycle helmet that doesn’t already have one. I came back for a 3rd, but they no longer had purple so that sucked for me but I def will buy more of this brand, If needed. Easy install.

Nothing is more important than keeping that helmet on your noggin when you're riding. This makes getting your helmet off a lot easier with a single tug but it also keeps it secure when you have it adjusted in the right place. Follow the directions or look up mounting videos on YouTube if you need help. They are durable. Great value for the money. The size and fit works great on most helmets. Fairly comfortable depending on where it fits under your jaw. My girlfriend puts these on her helmet and she has no complaints whatsoever. I have one similar on mine but a different color.

Fairly easy to install. Seems a bit bulky but works well. The ratcheting mechanism is nice easy to use. Got two, on the 3/4 helmet it is bulky under the chin but works well.

Easy to install and easy to use! Able to do it all with one had and even with gloves on. It's a huge time saver just click it and forget it

This fits my Scorpion Covert X helmet perfectly. First, I tried it on my HJC i-91 helmet, and because of the padding around the straps, I wasn't able to make it tight enough. So I tried another one on that helmet and it turns out, there really just doesn't seem to be enough space to get any quick release to work properly on it. Nothing to do with this product. If you put it on mostly any other helmet, it's great to have, and worth every penny. Installation is especially easy once you watch the video on the product page. It should take about 5 minutes. I know the side that locks into the buckle looks plastic in the pictures, but it isn't, so the entire product is durable and has a good weight to it. Not too heavy, but not so light that it feels cheap. It functions perfectly, from locking it, to pulling the tab and releasing it with one hand, every time. I use it every single day and I couldn't be happier with it.

My wife has a neurological problem that has affected her finger dexterity. I installed this unit to, hopefully, help her with buckling & unbuckling her helmet. It has definitely helped although in colder weather I still help...but much quicker than in the past. It was a little tricky with my fat fingers to fit it together, I eventually managed. I'm a little concerned about the screw remaining tight.. If it starts to loosen up I may put a drop of Locate on the threads. Only time will tell as to how it holds up.

It does seem like it is a quality made item and a good idea. Unfortunately because I have a pin head and wear an XS helmet and and am a small woman - this heavy metal clasp made the closure more bulky and more difficult to use for me - not easier. Perhaps it will work for you. I had to return the item. Update ... I have updated the review adding an additional star because the seller responded to me and was good about communication with me and I appreciate that.

Just purchased my second Simpson Helmet. For some reason, the chin straps on the older helmet are longer than than the new helmet. The new helmets straps are a few inches longer. I guess a couple of inches really does make a difference.!! :) :) With the new helmet, my sausage fingers took forever to do up the straps. I found this product on line. Literally took five minutes to install and that's with fiddling with trying to get that little screw back in. Easy and very helpful installation video available. Straps work great. Helmet is secure and takes seconds to buckle up or un do. Great product. Bough another one for my girlfriends helmet. I highly recommend.

Put quick release on 1 inch Adventure bike helmet strap . Easy to install with instructions in box. What I like best is I don't need to remove my gloves to remove helmet. Also I can move quick release between my different helmets really easily. Extra parts are a bonus.

I disliked the fact that the strap isn't held securely and comes loose after a few hours of use.

Easy to install on helmet and works very well. I had another kind that was difficult to line up to lock. This one is much easier.

We just bought new helmets that don’t have a quick release chin strap like our old helmets did. My husband founds these and we bought one for each helmet. Very easy to install and even easier to use! I have dexterity issues so fiddling with the chin strap just wasn’t going to work. This makes it easy to do and undo the chin strap now. I highly recommend
