Incredibly useful... for mechanics, contractors, home remodelers....
I was removing an engine out of a car I was restoring. Something went wrong and I ended up with a nasty gauge on the shin. Emergency room, many stitches because a large wound so far from the heart takes much longer to heal and has a greater chance of infection. After that painful and expensive episode I decided to see if I could find a way to protect the legs without getting hampered by cumbersome guards. I tried many soccer shin guards, motorcycle protections and finally found these ones designed for hockey. But it turns out they are incredibly light, strong, cover much more of the leg than any other, are very easy to put on or off, even on top of work pants. I did not originally want the knee pads so I cut them off. But they have their own velcro band so anytime I do some work that involves getting on the hard floor of the garage or a construction site, I put them back on. They rest on top of the shin guard so they never fall. And they are crazy comfortable.A truly awesome product! Thank you to whoever makes those!

Like wearing air
I am 6'2" and the 15" were perfect. Kind of clumsy with them at first as I've never worn them before but I was bale to wear them while batting, forgot I had them on, and cranked one to the WT. I was able to run all the bases with no restriction. I didn't realize I had them on until a teammate asked how I did it with the shin guards. Lightweight, comfy, and I've taken a couple off the shins already and still holding strong. The value is outstanding for the product.

My protection against shin injuries when I'm going work around the house
After recovering from a bad shin skin injury, I bought these hockey shin covers. I read all the other products and felt this would be the best to use and it is. During my skin treatments to heal the wound, I still had to do things around the house and garden so put these on and I never felt at risk of injury. I called Got Junk Dot Com to pick up unwanted things I wanted to get rid of. The young man who came took one look at my gear and said "Sweet! I need those." They do a lot of treacherous moving about of stuff. Now what I do for every day protection is something quite simple and it's free. Take a medium sized plastic cylindrical container that the kitchen sanitary wipes come in. When it's empty, don't throw it away. Using tin snips, cut off the top and the bottom. With the cylinder left, cut vertically on the front and back sides. You now have two rounded shaped rectangles. Cut the 90 degree corners into radiused corners, sand paper the edges all around and you have really good shin protectors. Put on a high pair of sport socks or compression socks, put these shin protectors over the socks and then on top of that, slip on knee high dress socks. Protected! Invisible! Yeah. It's great to feel normal again is an environment full of edges and corners just waiting to bump into shins. These plastic shin protectors don't slip about and they won't break like the authentic shin protectors made of plastic. At least this has been my experience.

Good guards..
Really good light weight guards. Use for pitching in Men's Softball.

Nice and tight. Fit well.
Stay tighter than other brands (which is good) due to the straps coming around the front. Only downside to this is that if you fall or get tripped up, you can damage the straps. Though this hasn't been much of an issue yet.

Great lightweight durable dek/ball hockey leg guards
I play in an indoor adult dek/ball hockey league. These pads are lightweight and easy to take on and off. They are also very durable, I've taken multiple slapshots and stick slashes off of them and they have held up perfectly. A great set of guards that won't slow you down on the floor, but still keep your legs very well protected.

If you pitch slow piutch softball at a decent level you will love them
These are so lightweight when the box arrived I wondered if anything was in it. Super comfortable as well. Look great under shorts and fit under pants. Get them and don't look back. Gert a helmet too.

Work great!
These work great for dek/roller hockey. Both my son and I have a pair! Protection is great, can't feel a thing when the ball or a stick hits it. Stay in place pretty well, just wish the straps were laced to the outside instead of the inside. Pretty durable, going on my third year with these and the plastic/fabric are holding up very well, even with all the sweat from being in the south. Great value for the price!
