The media could not be loaded. I ordered this to keep half my mobile home cold because i struggle with health issues in the heat and window units suck up so much electric. This was so amazingly easy to set up including the window mount. I had minimal tools all i needed was scissors and a screwdriver. I had it ready to roll within 10 minutes. There were instructions for set up, functions, the remote, all of it explained very simply with clear images or diagrams. I love that the little flap is so adjustable so i can have it move, going up for wider air flow, directed at my bed while i slept, etc. I work until midnight so i tried the timer for 10 hrs from when i left, it worked beautiful! i came home to a cold room, i checked the cameras and it started when it was supposed to (used to be a living area lol just have not moved them)! i love the timer you can do it to start or stop and it's so simple even a child could do it! The air that blows even on low is freezing cold which i love! there is not any moisture so far. The light on the display does turn off easily and brighten/dim for those sensitive to it.So the remote is wonderful! it has an LED screen, easy to understand buttons, adjust the fan, time, direction of the flow even! except mine didn't work at first. I called amazon they directed me to the seller... their customer service was AMAZING! First they wanted me to purchase the remote then they would give a credit. I told them i couldn't do that i'm in between paychecks. They said no problem! they are sending me a whole new air conditioner and said to just grab the remote, put the defective one in, then call and they'll send someone to pick it back up! Then they even gave me a coupon for my trouble! They were so polite, worked with me all the way, I would definitely purchase this brand again!UPDATE: have had about a month or more. It works! the plastic thing that holds the vent flap that moves broke last week thankfully my neighbor is good with fixing and rigged a new post for it from a wire hanger so that little plastic part is cheaply made for something that moves a lotDRAINAGE! Keep the styrofoam bottom part! i use it to prevent spillage while moving it to drain it. hoses don't work they leak like crazy. even if the plug is not removed as soon as you move it water comes out. I looked into a pan but the drain hole is so low none are shallow enough to fit while still having room for water. So i duct taped around the styrofoam bottom to reinforce and i move it in that WHEN water spills it does it in that and i can just dump it. duct tape keeps the styrofoam from breaking up hole fits for the plug cause it was made for that.REMOTE: Never did get a working remote but they tried and refunded me $46 grudgingly over it. they sent out a new unit i was to take the remote and put the malfunction one back in. new one didn't work either. i had the option to send it back and risk a malfunctioning one from the same lot or keep it i talked them into the price refund of a new remote since the whole lot was likely bad. they did it no issues

The unit is loud. Doesn't cool the room it was purchased for 200sq ft. the central air has to be kept on to feel any difference. There is no automatic setting for temperature, it runs until it is turned off or by the timer. You do have to disperse of the water at least once everyday, if it's used everyday. The window installation component gets a thumbs up. Pulls alot of current my bill went up $90 more and you do have to ensure you have the correct voltage in the outlet you use.

I needed this as a temp and emergency Standby AC unit to keep our equipment room cool. The unit worked great out the box and keeps a steady 68 degrees temperature.

Hey I was wondering if anyone else’s rotator is not working and is making noise? If so how can I fix it

this thing is awesome. Stays on all night with no problems. It’s heating up in SoCal and we really needed it to stay on all night. We just started using it so hopefully it’ll last a long time because we absolutely love it and it enables us to sleep so comfortably.

The A/c works great, the interface is clear and easy to use. It’s very powerful and keeps my room very cool especially for how compact it is.

I live in South Carolina. The heating portion of the14,000 BTU unit worked well during the winter months, but as one reviewer mentioned it can become a hassle draining every couple of days unless you elevate it and let it drain into a pan. I personally used a paint roller pan which would eliminate me having to transport the weighty unit. However, when the summer months came along the unit did not cool at all. It was more like a fan and of course by then the return period had expired. I contacted Amazon and they put me in touch with the Shipper/Mfg "SmartHome Store USA". We communicated each day with me sending pictures and videos. They shipped another unit. Upon receiving the new unit, it did not work either. I notified "SmartHome Store USA" and crickets, no reply and Amazon can no longer help. I now have units taking up space in my garage. I went to Best Buy, and I bought a 12,000 BTU unit and it worked just fine. Of course, not the same brand. Do not purchase this unit or from SmartHome Store USA. AGAIN STAY FAR AWAY.
