This vel is absolutely of good quality and weight, with no scratches, whoever buying for sadhna purposes,place it in your pooja altar, the vel becomes extremely charged. Skanda bhagwan was born out of shiva's semen which was burning hot and fire also couldn't handle it , so it placed in a marchy area in a forest in a scrubs of shravana was nursed by very 6 fierce women known as matrikas, later ma Parvati came and merged the six heads into one and thus the name shanmukha is given murugan, the upsurge of skanda is already began and now it will become mainstream again.
