These stands are solid, well-constructed, a nice color, and offer a good amount of display surface (compared to others I've considered, which may be just wide enough to hold 2 liquid soap bottles). Impressively, there has not been any discoloration or water marks after water was left on the top surfaces. Perhaps I was expecting the items to be smoother to the touch. These stands are definitely (as accurately described by the seller) more natural and rustic (you could see and feel the wood grain); the staining is not consistent around the entire stand; the edges are rougher than anticipated; there was a very small cut mark on the top surface of 1 of the stands (no big deal, though).Overall, they are reasonably priced (especially for 2) and they can serve a variety of purposes in my home (e.g. displaying soaps & more in the bathroom; decorations throughout the home; salt & pepper shakers and condiments in the kitchen and table; and offering different heights to serving dishes on the dining table)! These stand at 1-1/2" tall.

Pros:-I have a flat sink and the pedestals bring height and dimension to my bathroom.-The wood absorbs little water droplets that splash on to the pedestal without leaving any water stains behind.-The wood is a pretty neutral and natural tone which brings a touch of warmth to my bathroom decor.-An easy way to organize my soaps on a platform.Overall, I didn’t identify any negatives.
