They were good on arrival
This is a problem with Amazon reviews. We all like our products when we first get them unless they are DOA. These knives were definitely _not_ DOA. They arrived and look as described but the real surprise was how viscously sharp they were out of the box. My old knives were never this sharp when they were new or no matter how much I sharpened them. I hope this means the new knives aren't made with steel that dulls rapidly seeing as I don't seem to be able to sharpen to this level -- no need to "saw" a tomato -- just push straight down and it cuts like butter. I've never seen any knife do that before. They are dangerous to humans too. I've suffered 3-4 cuts since I got these whereas I hadn't cut myself with a knife in years.

Excellent sourdough knife for the money
It does the job very well, and inexpensive. If you need a cheap bread knife, I recommend this one.

Knives feel like great quality
I have owned other T-fal knives, and one chef knife that I gifted to someone. It was my favorite, had some good weight to it. These are great as well. Sharp and light, wish they had a bit more weight to them, but they slice very nicely!
