Great Mysteries!
If you have a young adult who loves the unsolved mysteries of history, this is a great book. It covers many topics from the Pyramids of Egypt to Jack the Ripper and some I've never heard of before like the Amber Room. It's truly a fascinating book for all ages and hard to put down. I particularly enjoyed reading about the Bermuda Triangle and now want to learn even more!

Introduction to The World's Mysteries
This historical guide for young explorers introduces them to some of the world's most mysterious cases and sites. It discusses the Bermuda Triangle, a region located off of the Southeastern coast of Florida where from the mid 1800's to the mid 1900's several planes and ships disappeared without a trace. And the guide also discusses a London serial killer in 1888 who they called Jack The Ripper, who was responsible for the deaths of five women. This interesting and engaging guide discusses several other mysterious monuments, documents, places and more that scientists and other experts still cannot explain to this day.

Took me back to my childhood
This book is just fun. A quick read for an adult, this will be the start of looking for adventure for a child. I remember reading about all these places as a child and hope my kids will enjoy this now. The amber, Loch Ness, pyramids, Roanoke, Stonehenge and more. Some dark stories as well, like Jack the Ripper and the Bermuda triangle. But all the stories have a picture about the place, event or thing. Then summary of what and where, followed by theories and facts, questions and what to look for next.

Jack the Ripper chapter inappropriate for children; otherwise good book
Interesting book for my 7 year-old. However, considering his age, I felt compelled to tear out the chapter on Jack the Ripper. Whose bright idea was it to include that in a book clearly marketed for children? If the story is too grotesque to tell in a straightforward way (e.g., “women” instead of prostitutes, and “changed their bodies” instead of mutilated), then the content is inappropriate for the age group. Just a tip for other parents looking to protect childhood innocence.

Very Good Book For Kids
Do you have a child that gets bored easily? If yes, then I recommend getting this book for them, especially with summer vacation coming up. They will easily learn how to do research, learn how to weigh the facts & theories for critical thinking skills & develop their own conclusions on these historical mysteries. Some of the mysteries involve learning about Atlantis, the Bermuda Triangle, & the Lock Ness Monster. I recommend getting them this book to teach them necessary skills while having fun in the process.

Fun and interesting
Our world is filled with incredible and interesting things. It’s full of mysteries some created by man like the pyramids and Stone Henge. Other mysteries stem from more natural phenomena, like The Bermuda Triangle. There are also human mysteries and unexplained mysteries in the animal world. This book delves into many of these historical mysteries and brings them to life
