I’m addicted
Reese’s is my favorite candy, so I figured it’d be a slam dunk that I’d love these bars too. And I most definitely do!They’re very easy to make. However, I would suggest using a slightly smaller dish than the instructions call for. Otherwise the bars turn out rather thin.Aside from that, they’re easy & delicious. 😋

Instant dessert, easy for kids to make
This was a fun dessert for the kids to make, easy and quick. Like that it is no bake, and the kids liked the flavor. I however found it to taste a bit like fake food... reminded me of easy bake oven treat flavors from the 80's. Maybe I just like real chocolate and peanut butter flavors though. It turned out pretty good consistency/ texture wise and was moist. Good value for the money, and the perfect size for a family of 4. Like I said, the kids and even hubby liked it, it did taste a lot like the peanutbutter cups, but I felt like it could use more chocolate to peanut butter ratio.

Taste exactly the same as the candy bar!
This is one amazing dessert! It makes the biggest Reesie cup size that your whole family can share! Loved by the kids and adored by the adults alike. This is one very affordable dessert compared to the candy bar itself. It taste exactly the same giving you a value for your money that you’re not gonna find elsewhere!

Reeses’s peanut butter cup inspired but not the same
Not the same taste or consistency as a Reeses’s peanut butter cup. Grainy sugar is prominent in the peanut mixture. The chocolate is more like icing. Not going to purchase again.Update: The consistency was much butter after being in the refrigerator overnight. The chocolate was solid, instead of being like icing, and the grainy texture was less prominent. Still will not purchase again.

Tastes like Reese's peanut butter
My first thought was, "this tastes just like one of their eggs, but kinda gooey".Mixed it up according to the directions and it turned out great. Use parchment paper to make it easier to remove from the pan. I didn't, and the first piece came out in chunks. After that they came out fine. The main 'filling' is pretty much the same as Reese's peanut butter in flavor and texture, but it must be missing an ingredient that makes it firm at room temperature, or the chocolate they use for the cups and eggs does a great job of making it appear stiffer. Either way, this is delicious and as quick and easy as they say it is.Next time I'm going to improvise and see if I can't make actual peanut butter cups with stiffer chocolate.May go crazy and make a cupcake sized one just for ships and wiggles...

Tasty! I'd buy again! Tips -->
These were really, really good. I was hesitant after reading other reviews but I'm glad I purchased!Suggestions for others in answer to some complaints:Too salty? Try making with unsalted butter.Too small? Make in a 7x7 plastic dish; I was able to cut them into 12 bars approximately the size of what passes for today's regular-sized peanut butter cup.Too grainy? Let the PB mixture sit for about five minutes after mixing in the butter, and make sure the butter is hot when adding. The heat plus resting a few minutes might help melt the sugar grains and "plumps" the flour in the mix, making it smoother - just my opinion, no science to back up my observation LOL Give another good stir and pour into prepared dish. Also - frost only after the PB mixture has chilled about an hour. It really is just frosting so it will smooth on easily. It will be a thin layer; I'm tempted to buy a can of frosting to top my next batch with instead!!Line your pan/dish with non-stick foil, with the ends extending over the edge to use as handles. It will aid in lifting them out BEFORE cutting. When cutting - try using a knife longer then the pan/dish is wide and cut on a cutting board. I left in the fridge for several hours before cutting so they were as hard as a rock!! Run the knife under hot water, wipe off water, cut, repeat. So there's my 2 cents, for what it's worth. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!!
