Took to the beach with us and it worked great! We usually take a canopy, this was soo much easier to take! It was light, no big case, and easy to set up! I was worried there wouldnt be enough shade, but we had more than enough!

Used the product for 6 days at the beach. Setup is easy once you follow the instructions (hey, I'm a guy, instructions are for wimps). Worked great with noajor issues. Make sure you stretch the front as tight as reasonable. It keeps the shade from trying to collapse. Only issue I had is by day 5 the elastic in the poles became loose and made assembly challenging. It did t affect the overall function of the shade, but was annoying when trying to set it up.

I would say on a beach day with no or light wind it would work fine. However, that is not the norm at the beach. I wasn’t able to use until this week at the beach, so unfortunately I am out of my return window, because I would return it. It would definitely work better with 4 poles. Decent wind kept blowing the canopy down onto our heads because it sets up at an angle. The wind shifted twice blowing the whole thing down to the ground. Because it sets up at an angle, it’s best set up facing the wind. So if you wind is blowing out to sea as mine did, you can’t see your children from under the canopy. It sets up easy enough. But the fabric stretches slot with the wind which pushes down on you while you are sitting. Tried setting it up in an Aframe style the 3rd time and it was just ok.

This is a great compact product. Easy to tot around when traveling, however when you are at the beach or a place unshaded. You can stil feel some UV rays coming through.

This was so easy to put up, however it's a challenge when it's windy. It's almost like sailing.. you just have to find the right angle in the wind to keep it aloft. It provides a great area of shade. Very lightweight so it's not too heavy to carry. I recommend this product. Be aware though some beaches, like Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, doesn't allow anything but umbrellas from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I can see not allowing tents or cabanas where you can't see through them which enables people to engage in activities which aren't public-friendly. However, when this is put up correctly, you can see through it so unless you're a really crude person you won't be engaging in anything that the public shouldn't see.

Easy to setup, very sturdy. No complains so far

This isn't really a comment on the product, but on local beach ordinances! Many beach towns are starting to ban these tents! I don't know why. Check the rules for the area that you want to use it in before buying. Other than that, the tent is fine.
