good lead
quality lead, first one went missing because of courier issues and they took matters into their hands decided to give them a try again and it got delivered. the lead is what it is melts good.

Newly molded Ingot
Considering its looking like it just came out of the forge it can't get better than this. A solid 5lb Lead ingot that you can work with and Cast with or use as a weight. Either way only paying 18 bucks with free shipping for something this weight and new is fantastic

I am using the lead as a high-density weight. As I expected, it's heavy for it's size. This will allow me to fit a relatively large amount of weight into a small volume.The one thing I didn't know before receiving the item is the exact dimensions, including the draft angles on the sides. You should provide ALL the dimensions so the buyer can plan how to use the item to it's maximum efficiency, understanding that not all buyer are planning to just melt the item down to make bullets or whatever.

Great for black powder bullets
Pure lead is the best hardness for use in black powder firearms. I bought some of these ingots, and the price couldn't be beaten online.I was able to cast around 270 bullets for my .45 out of one ingot. I did need to flux it, but it was some pretty pure lead from what I can tell.

Excellent Product, If you intend to melt it down.
Bars weighed 5 pounds and one ounce on my postal scales. The bars were not of uniform shape and were bowed but that did not matter to me because I was melting them down. I lost 2 1/2 ounces fluxing and cleaning per bar, this loss will be lessened when I get around to recovering and reducing my slag pile. Overall I will wind up with 79 ounces in my finished product from this 80 ounce purchase.

Dimensions are definitely not right.. Don't think it will work for what I was planning to use it for..But I'm sure most people are looking at this for smelting purposes, and if that's the case then the only thing I can say is that shipping was extremely quick.

A good way to buy lead for hobby work
Lead is in demand today, especially since the EPA has made it hard on US manufacturing to turn out simple .22 caliber shells for plinking and target fun. Car batteries and wheel weights are being scrounged for lead. This lead ingot will last me a decade of building hobby stuff without all the hassle of scavenging.
