Setting up the Maidesite standing desk was straightforward and took around 45 minutes. I paired it with their 160x80cm desktop, which creates a solid surface, especially at the lower height settings. At heights ranging from c100cm to 120cm, the desk remains stable for typing and general work. However, there is noticeable wobble if you give it a good shake - can't really complain at this price point though. The motors are quick and relatively quiet. The whirring sound from the motor is not overly intrusive. I have sat on the desk and it raises and lowers with ease. I am approx 75kg. The included cable/plug holder is very flimsy (it is just a piece of metal which you need to bend in shape) - I replaced it with another item available from Amazon. Comes with casters too along with fixed pads. However, casters will raise the desk (including worktop) from c71cm to c76cm which made it too high for my sitting position without foot rest at ~5ft8. I recommend setting the collision avoidance to the highest sensitivity. If left at the default setting, the desk won’t stop easily when it encounters an obstruction (it chipped a bit off my windows sill without stopping on default setting!!). Overall, I would recommend this desk to friends and family.

As a 6'6 100kg guy, I regularly lean on this thing while taking a break from work or gaming. Fantastic piece of kit, exactly what I was looking for at a very reasonable price point. Not a bad word to say about it after one year of use. Very high quality and durable build.

Very easy to set up. I used my existing desk top and fitted this to it. Took about an hour all in to get everything set up, all cable secured and tidies etc and ready to use. Simple to use and easy to adjust. Very quiet motor movements and even when working at 116 cm height still very stable on a thick carpet. I have an arm fitted to the back of the desk with two 27" monitors as well as a laptop and files on the desk and has no issues and very minimal wobble when using. For the price would recommend this to any home office users looking for that option of converting to a sit stand desk.

Bought this on prime day to repurpose a desktop on an old fixed desk. I am very pleased I spent a bit more for a 2 motor system. It is very quiet and smooth operating. Table is still very stiff in the standing desk configuration. Well packed for delivery. Straight forward to assemble. The desk controller works well with programmable heights. I paid £255 and am very happy with it

Really like the product ,me and dad put together took about an hour fairly straightforward got it sale really easy to use controls , would be nice if it came with a remote

Excellent adjustable desk !! There is nothing I don’t like about this desk frame. Excellent quality, extremely stable, motor quiet and quick. Brilliant range of desktop sizes can be accommodated. Matched it with a MAIDeSITe all in one piece desktop. Superb value for money! No need to keep trawling around to do comparisons - I already did that for you (lol). Just order it, you won’t regret it.
