Worked well once I received the specialized collar to use it. The wheel frayed a little quicker than I thought it would, but IS TOUGH and firm and completed my job as needed.

I bought a yellow and a white Zephyr pad to polish the logs on my pontoon boat. The yellow pad is a stiffer material much like starched denim, but it softens up after 15-20 mins of use. It cuts quickly so you don’t have to apply pressure to your buffer. You must buy an Zephyr adapter to use it on a buffer so these pads are expensive if you rarely use them as I do.

After many reviews around the web, i discovered that this brand and wheel had some great reviews. I found the best price and shipping time lime on FB. I have a aluminum 17' alumicraft canoe. it has never been cleaned or polished. this wheel made it on both sides as a first cut. I would suggest giving each dimple on the center hub a light hit with a screw driver to firm up the wheel.

Spins true! This thing is stiff as a board, and cuts quick with the right abrasive and power head! It not flexible at all! Which is good when you’re needing to apply some pressure with a 15 amp polisher! Buy a rake if you don’t have one, and don’t use cheap abrasives. The zephyr brand polishes work really well. A lot of the others load up on the work piece and the wheel when they get warm.

This is a whole different buffing wheel it's not good I don't even think it's made by zephyr..zephyr always puts a sticker on the front and this one has nothing I don't like this buffing wheel
