This is a perfect fit for my Rannai RL75e and fits most Rannia units, if not all of them. I highly recommend buying a few and simply replacing it every time you work on your unit. They get brittle over time because they are plastic and also become corroded from minerals in your water, which makes them difficult to remove (I learned the hard way). So buy a few of them, and throw the old one away and replace it every time you service your unit. A few dollars is worth not having the aggravation down the road.

This product was perfect. I almost bought the other option available on amazon that was over double the price. I'm glad I found this one instead. I received the tool and filters installed them with no issue. Much better than breaking the old filter with pliers since it was stuck from calcium build up and lack of maintenance.

I was struggling with my hot water pressure. I recently cleaned the filter, but I wanted to have this tool and supply of new filters to have ready in the future.It was not easy removing the filter without the tool, so that's why this set is perfect. Everything you need.Be sure to turn off the water first, at either the hot water heater itself or your entire home shutoff valve.This tool performs great. When installing the new filter, hand tight should be all you need.The filters do build up a lot of minerals, so this is important maintenance.
